I stayed at Hotel Nano in Croatia from July 3 to 16, 2024. Originally my stay was supposed to start on July 2, but due to flight cancellations, it was postponed to the following day. Unfortunately, we thus lost the one day we paid for, and spent it at the airport. To date, the hotel has not refunded us for the missed day.||The biggest disappointment during our stay, however, was the renovation taking place at the hotel. We were not informed of the renovation, and construction work was taking place right above our floor, which prevented us from sleeping peacefully from 8 am. This was extremely inconvenient and negatively affected our overall experience.||Another aspect that did not meet our expectations was the meals. The HB food we ordered included breakfast and dinner. However, on-site it turned out to be only breakfast and dinner, and the break between them was more than 10 hours. The offer presented by Rainbow Travel Agency was therefore inconsistent with reality. The meals themselves were monotonous, and the amount of fruits and vegetables was very limited. The quality of the food left much to be desired.||The hotel room was also not up to standards. Most of the furniture was neglected and in poor condition. The room was not cleaned well before our arrival, which further lowered our rating of the stay.||Despite this negative experience, I must praise one of the waitresses at the hotel. She was a kind woman with blonde hair who always tried to help and improve our mood. Her commitment and kindness were the only positive aspects of our stay.||Although. the hotel was not to our liking and was poor, the surrounding area was beautiful. Croatia captivated us with its picturesque landscapes and we had a nice time outside the hotel discovering the charms of this beautiful country.||Our stay at the Nano Hotel was disappointing for several reasons: the failure to inform us of the renovation, the poor quality of the meals, the condition of the room and the lack of refunds for unused nights. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel to other travellers. Nevertheless, Croatia itself is worth visiting for its beauty and...
Read moreBefore my arrival, reading comments and opinions about the Nano Hotel, I was a little concerned whether my holidays spent there would be successful. Especially when it comes to food, because most of the negative customer opinions were on this topic.|However, as it turned out, my fears turned out to be completely unfounded. The food was delicious. Every day for breakfast there were eggs in the form of omelets or fried eggs, as well as several types of salads. The vegetables were always fresh. In addition, the meals offered changed daily. There was always something sweet in the form of croissants and puff pastry cookies. Plus fruit cocktails, water and juices. The only thing I didn't like, unfortunately, was the coffee.|Dinners are also very delicious. Every day there are several types of dishes to choose from, starting from grilled vegetables, through pasta to meat in various variants. There really wasn't much to complain about.|Also, no one ran out of anything, even if you came for a meal a little later.|The staff was very efficient in cleaning the tables.||The rooms are clean and spacious, at least those in the building by the beach, cleaned every day. Unfortunately, the disadvantage is that when leaving the room and taking out the card, the fridge stopped working (older building). I understand light etc., but the fridge should have a separate power supply, just like the air conditioning.||The hotel is located right on the beach, at the bottom there is a restaurant with delicious food and fantastic service - greetings to Mateo and Benjo (I don't know if I wrote it correctly). Unfortunately, during our stay, the second building was undergoing renovation and we could not use the swimming pool and jacuzzi, but the hotel compensated us for this in a different way.||I really recommend the place and we are seriously considering returning to Nano with our family and friends next year or in the...
Read moreWe stayed here as part of a package deal with Rainbow (Polish tour company). ||The hotel offers 3* and 4* rooms (latter in new building behind original).||||Our room was in the older 3* building but recently renovated I would say - very clean and included a fridge which was very handy, and had good a/c which was essential.||||Location is literally just over the road from the beach (narrow, small pebbles) which helps when you are there at high season and need to drop your towels on the beach to reserve a spot. Yes, the beach gets that crowded but it still remains fairly relaxed considering.||||Drvinek is a quiet family resort, there are no discos or late night bars with banging music. By 11pm the streets are nearly empty - everyone is tucked away after a hard day on the beach.||||We were half-board in Nano, which is the best way to go on these deals. The food was great - yes, it can be a bit repetitious but who cares when it is good & fresh.||Breakfast includes hot (roast peppers/courgettes, cheese & ham toasties) and cold (cheeses & meats) options plus fruit (figs, water melon) and great coffee. ||Evening meal offers 3 main hot choices plus salad & dessert plus free wine (watered down in the Croatian style) or beer. ||As someone with a gluten allergy I had no problems eating here (although I brought my own bread for breakfast)||||The waiting & cleaning staff are all very happy & friendly and just add to the relaxed atmosphere at Nano.||||There is also a small pool on ground floor of the new building which can be nice as rarely used, as well as sun loungers if you fail to get your towels on the beach in time :)||||I would absolutely recommend Nano & Drvinek to anyone looking for a relaxed sun holiday without the obnoxious mania of some...
