This was our first stop as we embarked on a ten day holiday around Istria. This is a modern villa with a handful of large bedrooms so on first sight, we were happy. It ws very clean, contemporary and I loved the art and paintings. As the time went on, we realised what a little gem this place was, run by an absolutely wonderful lady that will go to great lengths to ensure you have a fab stay. Many times, she insisted on telephoning ahead or arranging special prices, personal recommendations and lending us beach cushions to take to the nearby pebble beach. It was invaluable.||The huge bedrooms had fantastic beds, some orthopedic (much to my friend's delight), large modern bathrooms and we even had a little tiny sea view from one of the windows. The air con worked a treat and the breakfasts (which are extra) were everything you would require and feel happy with. There is a bar too.||Unsure about the little pool which I personally think is too small to be useful to many people. I think the area could do with a rethink and have a nice terraced area instead with lovely plants as its quite uncharacteristic. In conclusion, highly recommend and...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our stay here. The room was everything we needed. The pool was fairly small (roughly 3x3m) but this was really nice as a couple as it meant it didn't attract children. The beach was pretty much on the door step of the property which was great. However, it is more of a small cove than a beach so don't expect to jump any waves and being Croatia it is pebbly so don't forget wet shoes. It is also extremely popular with local children so can be quite noisy thus, why we loved spending time in and around the pool. Not many local restaurants but the ones near are good. We recommend having pizza at skuza for lunch as it was delicious! ||||The only thing which I personally wasn't super keen on was how the owners merged their living into the rest of the property. I understand that they live in the property but always being downstairs in the lounge area did make it feel...
Read moreWhat a wonderful place to stay to experience the lovely area of Istria. 2 minutes from the sea, nice restaurants within walking distance and best of all Gordana who must be the hostess with the mostest. Very clean comfortable room with TV, fridge and air conditioning. Good WIFI throughout, small pool to relax in at the end of the day and an extensive buffet breakfast to get you started. Staying with Gordana is like visiting an old friend. She speaks very good English, German and I think a bit of all other languages. The area has good walks with close by and is easy to get to other local places of interest. 15 minutes to the centre of Pula and 20 minutes from thel walking area of Cape Kamenjak reputed to be the most beautiful walking...
