Holiday Park Plitvice Paradise — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

I stayed here for 2 nights. The bungalow is clean and warm. There are 4 bungalows next to the woods. There is a living room and a small kitchenette with basic things. Kids playground is there in addition to swimming pool. I liked the view and the garden. There is a balcony with a fireplace which you can use for a barbecue, with plenty of free wood , thanks to the owner. I had the chance to meet the owner, who is really a kind guy. I had a little chat with him. He was welcoming and available any time we needed anything. The bungalow is around 20 min driving to the lakes, Entrance 1. I do recommend Entrance 1 and trail B, which allows you to see the most important things, and yet it is doable trail during which you enjoy the boat and the bus.

There were no negative points apart from the bedroom curtain, which I suggest to the owner to replace it with a blackout curtain or a shutter, as the sunshine woke us up very early in the morning 😅 A bigger refrigerator and a washing machine would be of great value as well.

Otherwise everything was perfect , we really had a great time and we wish...

We arrived around 19.00 h. Me my wife and 2 small children. We saw these cute small houses and playground from the road. No one was there. Just one car with other tourists. We found the phonenumber on the internet. We called a few times and after about 10 min we were called back. We saw that on booked.com one house for two days was 242 euros. The owner offered us 140 euros for one night... we said on booking.com its cheaper. He said this is my price I am not going lower in price. Take it or leave it. There would come a person to make up the kids beds after an hour. All for all..not an very pleasant contact at 19.00 h in the evening. So we sent him a print screen of the booking.com. But he never replied...so we never will come...

Wonderful and charming retreat for visiting Plitvice lakes and possibly Bihac in Bosnia. There are 4 little wooden cottages equipped with everything you need for a few days stay. The property has a pool, is beautifully maintained, and is right next to the woods. There was a playground for the kids, with many toys available. The hosts were extremely nice. House was small, but comfy and very clean. Fridge is rather small (think hotel minibar size). Grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. One of the best places to stay in the area, 5...
