It is little things that can make a lasting impression. I was welcomed with an offer of coffee and rakija and was sent to my room with a big plate of home -made desserts. Next day I returned to the guest house after spending a cold and snowy day at Plitvice. The hostess brings me a tray of food (late lunch ) including 4 kind of bbq meats, potatoes, salad, bread and 4 different desserts. Keep in mind that meals are not included in the price of the room. The room was very clean and included a small fully equipped kitchen. The king size bed was super comfortable. Private bathroom was fully operational. Grocery store and bus station (bus to Plitvice ) are a block away. I have stayed at $100 hotels that were not nearby as nice. Great...
