Awesome place to stay! The owners are so loving and sweet, especially the wife. They work so hard and are so loving and kind. Highly recommend this place. The rooms are comfortable, no AC present unless extra kunas, it was a little hot in some rooms. They have windows and yay! Mosquito nets finally so you can open windows without getting bitten to death. Owners are always available to help that second anything you ask. If rainstorms hit they are so kind to even offer to drive you maybe to the bus stop.

Help with directions, the city, best places to go. They are just great! I could have stayed here much longer. Unfortunately there is no kitchen present. What a surprisingly good experience at the Kantun Hostel!

Me and my friends are roadtripping and sleeping in tents, but because of the storm we wanted to sleep with a roof above our heads. We looked for cheap options on Krk and found Hostel Kantun. Without any expectations we went to check in and we were welcomed very warmly. Immediately we loved the vibrant place with a relaxed vibe. The rooms were good for the price you pay. In the morning we were way too late for breakfast but the chef and owner, who is the best and most welcoming host I’ve ever met, made sure we had a delicious breakfast anyways.

This place is an absolute gem! We are staying here for two nights and are absolutely in love with the staff and atmosphere! The accomodation is very basic (metal bunk beds, tiny bathrooms, the two-bed room doesn't have an air conditioner) BUT this is the very best value for money we encountered in all of Punat. There is a bar with a terrace in the beautiful shade where guests hang out, drink coffee and have breakfast/lunch/dinner, and the staff is always here to get to know guests and help them with any issues they might have.
