House Sekulic — Hotel in Općina Rakovica

the location is very good, near the main road, easy to find and with a big parking...we rented their apartment for 4 nights to properly explore the surroundings...the rooms were normally equiped, clean...the kitchen had everything we needed...but, their hospitality was rare...i remember it was quite chilly even if it was end july and the host saw my wife uncomfortable and she even turned up the heat and made her some hot tea, and brought me a glass of their plum brandy...also she made very good cakes which she brought us every day...when we left she (after noticing that i liked the drink) gave me a nicely shaped bottle of that home made (i strongly guess) plum schnapps/brandy as a souvenir and for staying there for longer than the other clients...people stay in that area usually for 1 night to visit plitvice...really liked their hospitality...prices found at location are slightly lower than on booking sites...considering all the above i can only recommend...

We visited this apartman on our way to the Croatian seeside. We stopped for one night at Plitvice to see the lakes staying at Sekulic House. The location is good as the house is next to the main road (not noisy) nearby the village center and information. The house itself is nice and clean, equipped well enough. Wifi, satelite is available, parking is available in front of the house. The owner was polite and nice although she did not speak english. Online communication was easy during booking so we had no problem with arrangement. The place is nearby the lakes approx 5-7 minutes (10 km) by car and also there are other hiking options around. The only disadvantage is that upper rooms are very hot during summer. Room price is average compared to the area prices. I can recommend this...

Abbiamo soggiornato in Qs struttura x 2 notti e ci siamo trovati bene considerando il prezzo assolutamente concorrenziale x il periodo di alta stagione (68€/2 nt) . La camera che avevamo (n 2) era sotto tetto, piccola, ma accogliente. Bagno piccolissimo (in 2 non si riesce a stare), con doccia, no bidet. |I punto di forza, oltre al prezzo, sono la pulizia impeccabile, la pozione comoda x i laghi, la cortesia della signora che non parla italiano né inglese ma ci siamo capite benissimo. |C'è un piccolo frigo, con celletta freezer, a disposizione nel pianerottolo e un ventilatore in camera. Posto auto davanti alla struttura. |I punti critici, secondo me, sono stati : |la mancanza Dell aria condizionata (a dire il vero con la finestra aperta abbiamo dormito senza problemi xke il posto è fresco) ma la mattina tra la luce e le auto di passaggio è stato un pochino fastidioso, |la mancanza di una mensola o sgabello in bagno x appoggiare le cose, |la tv inutilizzabile (3 telecomandi, 2 decoder, ma...????) |Le tende (molto belle!) ma fanno filtrare luce la mattina. |Non abbiamo provato la colazione perché preferiamo la classica colazione con cappuccio e brioche (consiglio a Qs proposito Plum caffè bistrot a 2,5km Dall alloggio, sulla strada x arrivare ai laghi). |X la cena consiglio turist gabrovaz a 500 m da sekulic mentre a 50 m da sekulic c'è un piccolo ma ben fornito supermarket. Riassumendo :buona struttura, la consiglio e ci tornerei perché si tratta, tutto sommato, di un buon rapporto...
