M & N ZAFRAN — Hotel in Općina Rakovica

I stayed at M&N Zafran for a short trip to Plitvice National Park.||||In all honesty, I wasn't expecting a whole lot for the price I booked at because I'm a student and on a limited budget but when I arrived, I was amazed at how clean and comfortable the room was. The bed was comfortable and the washroom was clean. The room felt very new and modern and there was quite a bit of privacy.||||The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Zafran, were very welcoming and even gave me a ride to and from the park - about 8 km away from the guesthouse. This apartment -hotel is average. Rooms are nothing special, wifi is not working at all, location not very good. Restaurants are a ten minute walk, a small shop is on the other side of the road. Grabovac itself is very, very boring. There is nothing to do and it has only 2 restaurants with bad food. We stayed here for one night in May 2013. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the park entrance because we were visiting the park over two days. M&N Zafran fit the bill. We just saw the sign for the hostel and pulled off the road. They have free parking available. After ringing the doorbell, the hostess showed us to a clean and comfortable double room.
