Rooms are cramped, when you put your suitcase on a floor, walking to/from the bed becomes very unconvenient. For the time of stay you only get a glass which you can use. No plates (even a small one), table nor chairs, so if you plan to eat anything bigger than a candy, you have a problem. Good thing is that there is a fridge and air conditioning.
Eating breakfast you can feel that the hotel is trying to keep their cost low. If you like the cheapest sausages, jams made from everything but the real fruits, juice mixed with water, you won't be disappointed. An omlette (or scrambled eggs, couldn't tell a difference between them) was not bad, but that was the only thing which tasted exactly as it should. You can also eat a lunch in the restaurant, but from what I saw on the breakfast, I wasn't brave enough to give it a try.
There is only one employee who speaks english (although, very well). If you're not lucky and she's not around, don't even bother tring to arrange something in the reception.
During the 5-night stay, occassionally there was a hot water. Yes, occassionally. After my wife pointed it out to the reception, we were told that "it happens". The owner listening to the conversation started to scream on the receptionist in Croatian. Polish and Croatian are both Slavic so at least it was possible to understand what he wanted to say. We found out that we're demanding, idiots, who expects to always have a hot water in a hotel... Really?
If you're looking for a nice place to stay, keep away from Levant Hotel. There are tons of more comfortable and friendly apartments nearby. Levant is an exceptional facility which perfectly combines high prices with poor quality you...
Read moreWe had a great time. Definitely the photos are misleading, but do not listen for reviews wrote a few years ago. Rooms are remodeled. We had 2 bedrooms with brand new beds, carpet, furniture, TVs. The bathroom was ok, needs a little remodeling too. The breakfast was nice with fresh bread and coffee. The staff was nice and friendly. There is an option to pay for your room with a card or euro or kuna and we received an invoice also. If i can add something i would build a little reception area and would improve on Wifi. I would also improve on the look from the outside, like parking lot and sign front of the building. The place is pet friendly. All over we enjoyed our stay. Would...
Read moreWe booked this hotel through booking com with no picture of the room, but weren’t disappointed. The room was ready way earlier before the check in time. It’s quite small, but enough if you are here for couple of days. However it’s clean, has working air conditioner and a fridge, and a nice balcony. There is a pool, which is very refreshing. The stuff is very welcoming and helpful.
In general, it’s a nice place to spend your summer...
