We expected , as we heard about quality and in Croatia known chef, perfect food. Ok, depends from the day...food can be diferent,of course.... but, I would like to but cannot give them 5 stars...something is missing...as mentioned; a "famous" chef supposed to be a guarantor of great food...the food is good and they have quite a selection of wines, but we still expected that "cherry on the cake"...if we were in a "normal" restaurant, I would have given them 5 stars, but here we expected something more...very good food, but food were not great, worthy of the name of the chef. We will come back next year,so we will se if they will be better as expected. And finally,; of course you should eat in this restaurant, they have really good food and service...not for...

I've always loved Croatia, since my childhood living there. You could say I grew up eating seafood here because it was the first time I had it really. The Chef at Griblja is an exceptional master with years of experience in local, traditional Dalmatian cuisine. Everything he crafts is done with love and attention to detail. What makes these dishes amazing is that the chef keeps the seafood minimally 'dressed up' if you will so the flavor is the way seafood should be. All the seafood is also selected fresh DAILY at local markets. The fish you eat is caught THAT day! It's hard to compare and I'll be honest it's hard to eat anywhere else when we're in Croatia lol The staff at Griblja are also amazing providing top notch service. We can't wait...

An outstanding place to eat! We had no real expectations and were surprised extremely positive! Delicious starters with prosciutto and tuna, for main course the catch of the day… the preparation of all that was incredible. Extraordinary taste with nice taste, perfectly prepared fish and nothing that could have been better. Therefore we needed to taste the dessert! Again: outstanding! The flavor of every dish was great! Our waitress was extremely competent and attentive! She shared insights and proved her competence in knowledge and service! The atmosphere is warm and elegant at the same time.
