Maistra Select Riva Apartments — Hotel in Općina Vrsar

As we have visited Vrsar before we knew the excellent central location of the Riva apartments. Right by the harbour and only steps away from all that you need, restaurants, bars, bakery and shops.||The welcome we got from the staff in Pineta when checking in was excellent and she was very friendly and helpful and could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.||The apartment was excellent, very clean and had loads of room for the three of us, the furniture is quite basic and simple, but there is a lot of storage space, we just would of liked a safe in there but the absolutely breathtaking view from the balcony more than made up for a couple of wants.||Despite its central location, it is very quiet and calm, no disturbing noises from street level, not even at night, and it is very entertaining being able to people watch as well.||Towels and sheets were changed once during our week long stay. One beach towel is provided per person for free, and we had two bracelets which could be used at the pool bar or Belvedere restaurant to get a discount and is added to your final bill.||The pool and beach are a short 5 minute walk away. The pool is clean and has small slides to occupy children. The beach has pebbles, sunbeds, umbrellas and sport facilities, however we much preferred walking further around where we could snorkel off the rocks in the deep blue sea with trees as the natural shade.||On a stormy day my daughter and I was able to still go for a swim at the indoor pool at Pineta, we asked about paying for a sauna at reception and again they was very helpful and told us we could use it for a free hour as we were resort guests, what could of been a miserable day stuck indoors turned into a lovely relaxing day.||We enjoyed our stay at the Riva and would definitely...

I simply cannot imagine better location in Vrsar. The building is right by the sea, only steps away from restaurants, bars, shops, beach, harbour, with breathtaking view from the balcony.||The furniture is quite simple, and a little bit outdated. However, the accomodation is excellent from all other aspects. Despite of its central location, it is quite calm, no disturbing noises from the street (except one morning, when the street was maintained at around 7.00 a.m.), not even at night. (Balcony door was open all night long during my sleep.) ||Buffet breakfast is available at Hotel Pineta (short walk uphill; also the place for check-in and check-out) for extra 75 HRK per person, but other restaurants nearby also serve breakfast. (My personal experience is that - although the restaurants mentioned latter serve breakfast for lower prices and seem better choice at first sight - taking into consideration the choice and quality, Pineta's breakfast is a real value for the money.) Nevertheless, since the apartment is equipped with a kitchen, you can make breakfast for yourself if you want.||Towels were changed once during our one-week-long stay. We was so excited to get back to Riva and it’s fabulous views after missing out staying there the previous year due to covid and cancelled flights.|When arriving to check in I was told by the nice receptionist that there was no room at Riva for us due to cleaning and them wanting to give us a nice apartment (basically they had probably overbooked) so we was being moved to Belvedere, which is better. I commented that we had stayed in both previously and preferred Riva which is why we had specifically booked there.|I was slightly annoyed that as members of the Maistra loyalty programme they had not let know this before we arrived especially as we had done the online check in with them just the day before arriving so we should of been just been collecting the keys not being moved elsewhere.|Our Belvedere apartment was basic but nice enough but felt very strange that it had a big slippy bath that was difficult to get into rather than a walk in shower. It was suppose to be a sea view and we could see glimpses of the sea, through trees and a big resort map. |It was far too crowded at Belvedere for us as we was all still suppose to be social distancing etc but as far as we could see it was like covid never existed. |There was no teen club for my daughter to join in with, and we saw a lot of teens dragging behind their parents on their phones looking bored.|We will definitely stay again but only if we know for certain we...
