People wandering around into treatment rooms taking photos while I was topless having a Turkish Bath: My family & myself booked into the Kaya Palazzo for a Turkish Bath. While my husband & younger son had their treatment I was told I could use the jacuzzi spa area. Unfortunately there was a family of 4 Dad, Son, Mum & late teen to early 20"s daughter all fully dressed standing taking photos and videos of the spa. I didn't want to be in any videos or photos so stood to the side waiting for them to finish and leave...after a few minutes they still hadn't left & were still taking photos. I spoke with a maintenance man who seemed to be waiting for them but he didn't speak English so eventually the receptionist was called. The dad denied taking photos (it wasn't him, it was the daughter). The staff seemed happy that was the end of it and left. I then went into my treatment room to have my treatment. Part way through having my treatment while laying topless the woman and her daughter entered into the Turkish Bath Room walked to the doorway of my room, I scrambled to cover myself while my therapist grabbed a sheet to cover me. The mum then stepped back and took a photo with flash of the main Turkish spa room while laughing and joking with her daughter in Turkish. I was left feeling very uncomfortable for the remainder of my treatment having had someone walk in stare at me while I was partially undressed then continue to take photos. It completely spoiled the otherwise nice treatment. On leaving I spoke with the receptionist again who assured me the man hadn't taken photos and said they wouldn't be posting online. I obviously explained no one should be wandering around a spa taking photos and videos especially not into treatment rooms. I later got a call from guest services who said the family had assured them they wouldn't post the photos on social media but that they enjoyed taking photos. She agreed that it was wrong but again kept insisting they wouldn't post them they just enjoyed taking photos. I pointed out they had no idea if the daughter had a huge social media following of millions of people and was just taking their word. I pointed out they had no care for anyone's privacy which should be the hotels utmost concern with many customers being wealthy business people, celebrities etc who value their privacy over all else. My concerns and awful experience was falling on deaf ears. She said guests are free to take photos in the spa regardless as they like how it looks. Having spent nearly £300 on treatments I don't expect to be made to feel so uncomfortable and vulnerable with people just wandering around taking photos while others are undressed having treatments. Read moreFirst day at the hotel arriving at the reception I had given my name and they were looking for the reservation the girl with the name ayca told me that there is no such reservation in my name and she told me to sit in the lobby until a reservation is found and she will call me I sat in the lobby for 25 minutes and no no one showed up and I went back to the reception again I realized that the girl named ayca had forgotten me and had given the problem other people when i went there this girl was talking very bad to the others i didn't understand what they were saying her style was very angry
Then the reservation was found, I paid for two nights and one night was all inclusive.
In the evening I went down to the restaurant to eat in the restaurant it was about the fish I had ordered an octopus and a calamari and a salad the food was really miserable it needs immediate improvement I had eaten quickly and left because I didn't want to sit there anymore the food was not for me I didn't like it at all and I was hungry and wanted to leave.
The second night I went down to the buffet for food waiters looked at me strangely for a long time when I left the restaurant after the meal they followed me and I wanted to sign I asked why and they told me the food I told them today was all paid because I was all including and he asked me to follow him to reception to make sure this was not my problem but yours i shouldn't have waited 20 minutes for you to find the mistake you made The food at the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets was wonderful
The hotel is very beautiful great architecture . nice the spa girls amazing good behavior and the massage great . the room big but a huge issue there is the shower It stank for both nights peeing and talking in room 1337.

Read moreOn the surface the hotel is beautifully furnished and exudes a 5 star image. On arrival the front desk team were excellent. Arriving early we were offered breakfast whilst we waited for our room. We declined but enjoyed a coffee instead. Room was okay and very clean. Although the toilet cover came away in my hand when lifting! However due to a lack of training or laziness we had to experience a joke re the room mugs ! On our second day we returned to find the mugs had not been left along with the replacement of teabags. Tried calling guest service / no answer. Eventually managed to resolve the issue. Day two we returned to find one mug instead of two - the front desk laughed at the repeating issue and sorted it out. No bathrobes as standard/ we had to ask for them. No turndown service first day but asked about it and they completed it for remainder of stay. Overall the front desk team were excellent. However I have to comment about the food and beverage team in both the main restaurant and the lounge bar. Very robotic and totally uninterested in serving. Body language was generally very poor and as for a smile 😊 totally non existent. No welcome - no thank you - no goodbye. Team never approach and service the table but wait for the guest to ask. Hotel needs to review their recruitment and training policy. 5 star ambiance with 2 star service. Such a shame. Breakfast buffet was excellent although the same everyday. To sum up, would we stay again. Probably but hope the service issue is...
