Platres Valley Houses — Hotel in Kato Platres

I was here solo, and was completely alone in the whole resort (for 2/3 nights). This is what I wanted, because I needed peace and quiet in the middle of Troodos forests. At moments, it was a bit scary, too 😝

The location is perfect for exploring Troodos mountains and villages. The service and the staff were great, even though I haven't met them. But we had all the necessary communication via messaging. They were really friendly and kind, and also helpful when I didn't find the houses in the dark evening.

The house itself was okay, but the equipment a bit outdated, and some of it needs repair or replacement. The sheets and the towels were clean, which is the most important. But they could clean a bit more inside of the credence, where the plates and cups more. Also, the sink in the bathroom is a bit clumsy and small, when you wash your teeth and face 😝

Absolutely amazing place! I had a great time. I got a full house/cabin for ~50€/night which is a good price, the houses were well-equipped. This is ideal place for families or larger groups of friends to have a break close to nature. The only complaints I have are: the heating system for water (you need to wait a bit to have it warm) and the location, which was a bit far from the places I wanted to visit in Cyprus' interior.

Good price - quality. There is little space in the houses. A slightly strange hot water control system, it must be turned on for a limited time and must be turned off before use.
