Sanders Crystal 1 — Hotel in Limassol Municipality

Our stay at this apartment, booked on Booking.com and managed by Sanders, was an absolute disaster, and both the property owner and Booking.com demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism.

Hot Water Issues: The apartment essentially had no reliable hot water for the entirety of our 7-day stay. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue — including numerous messages to Sanders’ support team, maintenance visits, and repairs to the boiler — the result was zero. I managed to take a proper hot shower only three times during the entire week. Instead of enjoying our holiday in Cyprus, we wasted countless hours waiting for hot water or contacting Sanders and Booking.com to address the problem. The picture shows how we had to wash - boiling water and taking it from the pot as it was the XIX century.

Booking.com’s Passive Approach: Booking.com offered no real assistance. During the stay, they credited €51 to my wallet as a token gesture and promised an additional €51 after check-out, which has yet to materialize. Their passivity and lack of accountability left us feeling abandoned during a frustrating ordeal.

Ridiculous Refund Offers: Sanders offered a refund of 10% of the total booking amount — an insultingly small compensation for the stress and inconvenience we endured. Worse still, even this meager refund hasn’t been processed. We checked out on 27.12.2024, and as of 02.01.2024, they claimed the transfer had been made, yet no money has been received. The silence since then speaks volumes about their approach to customer care.

Overcharging During Booking: The issues started even before our arrival. We were charged €107 more than the displayed booking price, which required extensive back-and-forth correspondence to resolve. Only after we checked out was this overcharge refunded, which should never have occurred in the first place.

This experience has left us deeply disappointed. After more than a decade of being loyal clients of Booking.com, we no longer trust the platform or its partners. The lack of accountability, unresponsive support, and failure to provide even basic amenities ruined what should have been a relaxing holiday.

Коротко: ужасно, не рекомендую.

Не так коротко: Из 7 дней пребывания, 4 - не было горячей воды. Так как мы приехали с полуторогодовалым ребенком - это было причиной крайне негативных переживаний. Это уже опуская тот факт, что после дороги в полутора суток, я не могла нормально помыться еще 4 дня. После обращения - предложили прислать менеджера в последний день проживания. Компенсации никакой - имели неосторожность бронировать жилье напрямую, не через букинг, и сильно пожалели об этом решении. Перед нашим заездом была проведена уборка, но явно плохая: на дверях и мебели были разводы; на полу - кошлатилась шерсть, судя по всему собачья. Пройдя босиком по терассе, ноги становились черными. Стеклянный бортик на терассе так же был в разводах. Мы не придирчивы, но не замечать это было сложно - от этого значительно ухудшался экспириенс. Ой, почти забыла: грязные столовые приборы - на вилках и ложках были остатки еды, пришлось перемывать посуду. В квартире отсутствовал веник. Напоминаю, мы приехали с тодлером - все крошки от хлеба и печенья приходилось подметать с пола вручную. Так же на кухне: нет полотенец, салфеток. На 7 дней проживания, на трех взрослых и ребенка было 2 маленьких мусорных пакета и 4 рулона туалетной бумаги. Соль, сахар, масло для жарки, мусорные пакеты, туалетную бумагу пришлось докупать дополнительно. В комплексе отсутствовал гриль. Гриль и бассейн - были решающими в выборе именно этих апартаментов.

Если вы сомневаетесь, мой вам совет: не останавливайтесь в этих апартаментах. Наша невнимательность при чтении отзывов испортила нам отпуск. Это буквально была худшая...

Accommodation is really large but not so well furnished for this price. On the terrace hardly any furniture and certainly no upholstery. You have to pay extra for towels and hardly any accessories in the kitchen. You can’t even make yourself a coffee. I expect more for this price, so from my point of view not recommended.
