Yasumaki - Sushi and Asian food delivery — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

We ordered delivery to our house. Honestly, this is the worst sushi I’ve ever had !! All the pieces are filled with A LOT of philadelphia cheese that we couldn’t even swallow due to their excess. It was not mentioned, and that was the worst part! I had to dig every piece to be able to eat it, cause it felt like cream cheese sushi. Not a frequent poster on google reviews, but this one is a big no-no. There was one set of pieces without cream cheese but guess what? it was mainly full of green seaweed that tasted like the bad part of the sea. Never again, and giving heads up for anyone who wants to order.

I’d had sushi from here before - colleagues swore by it, and to be fair, so did I. Generous portions, neatly presented, fresh and full of flavour. Honestly, quite the treat. Naturally, I thought I’d order again.

Big mistake.

The first time, the rolls arrived looking like they’d survived a mild car accident. Uneven cuts, bits falling apart - not exactly the artful precision one might expect from sushi. Still, it was edible, if not exactly delightful. I chalked it up to an off day.

The second time? Same story. Slightly better aligned, perhaps, but the magic was well and truly gone. And considering the price - which hasn’t dropped to match the quality - it’s all a bit hard to justify.

No idea what’s going on behind the scenes - new chef? Cost-cutting? A cosmic joke? Either way, it’s gone from “high-end indulgence” to “something you’d grudgingly eat at a train station.”

Here’s hoping they find their way back. Until then, I think I’ll be exploring...

UPDATE. After the answer from the owner i went to double check their menu in wolt to see if I'm going crazy. None of the mentioned below except by the sweet was on the menu. Even if that, a maki of avocado is not enough to count as "vegetarian sushi". Thank you. Hope you take it in count.

Out of a large menu with more than 50 options of sushi only ONE is suitable for vegetarians. It's time to evolve. I've been in the best places of sushi even 100% japanese made restaurants in which they offer an entire menu only for vegetarian/vegan people being them the only ones with the right to make fish only.

Disappointing.

You should check your menu once again cause even the worst sushi place here in Limassol has at least 3 more options than you.
