Disappointed is not strong enough to express our shock when arriving here. Having booked on Airbnb with the photos they supplied we thought we were going to have a wonderful experience. Not to be !|Everything is tired and unkept. The restaurant is not at all like the photos supplied. They are very old photos taken a long time again comparing them to mine taken today. In the restaurant there is stuff everywhere covered in sheets, tacked on roofs over the pergola , it lacks love and caring. In fact it’s depressing. We then go to Myrto House no 4 looking down at the pool. Again a table with no chairs, light globes out, no beside lamps , again dark and depressing. Not able to open any shutters as probably mosquitos will come in as had a mosquito net over the bed. I felt claustrophobic last night , as if I was in a prison. Around the pool is a mess, weeds, untidy and again unloved. The pool is lovely . No welcome kit !! Maybe a few teabags, coffee sachets , and sugar and long life milk would have made you feel slightly welcome. Where you pick up the key at the office is also a mess so on first impression this also isn’t very welcoming or inviting. Sets the tone for what’s to come. Having stayed at many Airbnbs and coming from a Paphos Airbnb where it was absolutely faultless , I can’t say many good things. The buildings are beautiful and full of character and with some love and TLC they could be quite stunning. So having booked for 9 days we are leaving after 2 nights. Guess too we lose our money on this exercise . False advertising at its best. Be aware. |It is a charming village with history and I’m sure you can find another lovely place to stay and have a wonderful experience . Im very sad to have to...
