Hotel Sepetná — Hotel in okres Frýdek-Místek

We arrived for 1 night at the Sepetna hotel, we've been hosted there many times before and never had an issue. In the morning of our arrival I called and asked if it okay to add another bed to our room as my son will join - I was assured there is not problem and we will get it. We arrived around 16:00 to the hotel and immediately I felt wrong, the receptionists were unbearably unwelcoming, as every word I said was annoying them, I gave my details and one of them practically yelled at me that I got a room for 2 only! I explained that I called in the morning and asked to add a bed, she angrily answered she didn't get any info and that room is only for 2. wow. at this point I felt sorry for even coming to spend the last weekend of our holidays at sepetna as i know nothing good will come out of it. The second receptionist then joined and said i called in the morning and suddenly it was possible to add the bed. we then found out that we must make the bed ourselves and I had to ask someone from the hotel workers to help with opening the bed which was a folding sofa. In the room the WC was leaking, the shower was amazingly noisy and the douche was broken, making taking a shower a very unpleasant experience. The ventilation didn't stop working which made it very hard to sleep. When checking out I was pushed from one place to another as I wanted to pay with "benefit plus" as I did in the past at "slunicko", we always got an invoice which I paid later from work later, this time I was pushed to find wifi (as the one in the hotel didn't work) and send a payment to them so I can check out! we were packed and ready, just wasting a good 2 hours for the receptionist not willing to invoice me via mail! You might answer "oh but that's the way we do it now" and i'll completely go with you and agree - but it's the approach that made me angry, the feeling of no one cares for you and you are nothing but a bother with a wallet.

Every step we had in the hotel was to avoid the reception, every time we came in or out we fled those 3 meters just to avoid another conflict. we stayed by the hotel and the "chalupa" many times but I don't think we will again....

We stayed with family for five nights during summer vacation. We originally wanted to book nearby Penzion Slunicko, but were referred to hotel Sepetna, as Slunicko was full and both are operated by the same company. While we were looking only for "bed and breakfast", we were offered a combination of a special package for four nights with half board, plus extra night. This was actually cheaper than "bed and breakfast" and we took that offer.||Access to the hotel is via a narrow and steep road and is likely to be a problem in winter. The hotel is on the slopes of Lysa hora in the wood.||We had an apartment, where a sofa was converted into a bed. Overall there was not much space, but the room was ok for the needs we had. As the room was designed for disabled access, the bathroom was large. We had two balconies with a view. Only the last night there was a bit of noise during the night, as there was a wedding party running whole night.||The hotel restaurant has large table with benches in a mountain/rustical style. Buffet breakfast was good, dinners for half board are buffet style and serve local (Czech) classic food.||The hotel prides itself for the swimming pool. It is really good and the water slide provided great amusement to children. The hotel guests have free access to the pool, but excluding certain times (e.g. 17-19). We always got to the pool, if we wanted, but you may not be that lucky. Going out to the mountains, then relaxing in the pool and going to dinner (18-20) may become a logistics exercise. The pool is in a separate building connected through a covered corridor. This is fine in summer, winter would be not as pleasant; plus the dressing rooms at the pool are tiny.||Overall, a good place for relaxing vacation with trips to...
