Hotel Galerie — Hotel in okres Jindřichův Hradec

We ate here twice and noticed that there was each time a totally different staff (waiters). Usually, this is not a good sign. The food was traditional Czech, which is certainly not bad, and the daily menu interestingly priced. But the (not so young) waitress that did not leave any opportunity unused to show us (and other guests) that she really did not like her job, that the customers really did not matter for her, that she was bored etc. ... such waitress has really a very negative influence on the atmosphere in a restaurant and if she had been there the first day we ate here, we certainly would not have come back. Communist times are over, guys, and if you want to serve "communist style", go off to North Korea ! But the food was OK and so was the male waiter and the setting and many other things in...

V hotelu jsme byli ubytovaní na víkend s polopenzí - snídaně + dvouchodová večeře. Už při objednávání pokoje jsem se ptala, zda bude možnost i vegetariánských jídel - bylo mi řečeno, že se domluvíme. To samé mi po příjezdu řekla paní na recepci. Ovšem žádná domluva neproběhla a místo zaplaceného dvouchodového menu jsem dostala smažák. Druhá večeře byla katastrofa - začínala v 18 hodin, přišli jsme v 18:07 a restaurace byla plná. Pán majitel/provozní? nám řekl, ať přijdem za půl hoďky. Přišli jsme tedy znovu za 40 minut a sedli si ke stolu, odkud nás pán vyhodil s tím, že tam čeká lidi. Pardon, ale dát přednost hostům z ulice před ubytovanými hosty? Řekla jsem, že bychom se už rádi najedli, načež mi pán odpověděl, ať si sedneme ke stolu k cizím lidem, nebo ať počkáme (opět). Asi bych nad vším mávla rukou, kdyby se pán alespoň omluvil a nechoval se k nám tak arogantně. Chování personálu nám zkazilo celkový dojem z hotelu, který byl jinak útulný, pokoje sice malé ale čisté. Není divu, že je tento hotel nabízen...

Food was ok, however overpriced, suprisingly drinks were not overpriced at all. The weak part of this restaurant is service. Boring, with no interest, customer gets feeling that disturbs them there.||This is problem of most czech restaurants. So i will go on trying not give it a try more than...
