I have come to this property in an attempt for a last minute get-away to what the hotel web pages promised to be “quiet and relaxing friendly spa stay” for an extended weekend. I am leaving with mixed feelings:||Pros: yes, it is very close to the Aurora spa complex (about 300 yards); yes, it is mostly quiet; and yes, the personnel can (sometimes) be friendly.||Cons:||No, it is not a spa place. When inquiring about the usual spa procedures in the hotel reception, I was told these needed to be ordered about 3 weeks ago. (it turns out that the spa personnel can “squeeze you in” if you pay them in cash and arrange for it privately||No, it is not always quiet. On Fridays and Saturdays there is band playing in a place next door and you will not be sleeping before midnight.||The friendliness extends only so far. In the bathroom there was a room with a bathtub but no shower curtain, so during the shower the water go everywhere. In the bathroom the tube for the air circulation did not have the grille to close the tube, and inside the tube there was a lot of dust. The bed sheets are duvet but do not cover all bed. Pillow very very uncomfortable, too thin and with lumps inside the bags of pillow.||||In the aisles there are a lot of spiders. All around the hotel there are trees and there is a beautifull lake, so it is normal that in nature there are animals, I love them, but inside the hotel there are too much spider.||||The worse thing is that in the room there was no thick or dark tents that could block sunlight, so at dawn (6 am more or less) the light came in the room and woked me...
