Pension U governor — Hotel in okres Klatovy

We booked this hotel well in advance in March, for a two night stay in July, we telephoned them the night before our arrival to confirm everything and was told they were expecting us. We arrived there at about 4.30pm after a 6 hour journey. There was no one there, we phoned them, a lady arrived in about 5 mins by car to tell us that is was not possible for us to stay there tonight as some other guest had decided to stay a night longer!!!! She also said she had no recollection of our telephone conversation the day before, complete lie. I have never heard such rubbish, if you make a booking in advance then your booking should be there for you. She told us to follow her in the car to some other accommodation, which was totally out of the centre and not acceptable accommodation at all. The man at the accommodation was very rude and told us to take it or leave it. We left it of course. I have travelled to the Czech Republic many times and stayed in many Penzions and have never had this poor experience and rudeness ever before. Do not make a booking with this Penzion and expect it to be there for you when you arrive, they are unprofessional, liars and time wasters. We found ourselves a much nicer Penzion elsewhere, but the whole situation was very inconvenient and stressful for us. It is a shame because we had intended to stay there on a regular basis as we travel to Czech frequently, I will never recommend this...

Unfriendly, slow check in, stinky corridor, entrance door needs special attention to open, no promised toiletries, provided towels start to smell on contact with water, shower was a bit dirty, linen had holes in them. Two pros: central location,...

Doslova ubytovna, která je zaseklá v 90 letech.

Negativa: Vybavení staré a dost použité. TV s nápisem majitele je mazec. Pokoj není tichý, vše je slyšet. Jak z ulice, tak i od sousedů ve vedlejším pokoji. Závěsy jsou na nic, světlo vás probudí v 5h ráno. Koupelna je dost zatuchlá a vlhká. Ručník je také cítit zatuchlinou. Hlavní dveře do domu jsou zaseklé, potřebujete speciální chvat na otevření. Platit můžete jen hotově. Parkovat lze o kus dále na náměstí. Kde je poplatek 20kč/hodina mezi 8 a 18h a opět jen mincema.

Pozitiva: velký pokoj a koupelna, vybavení TV, lednice, konvice na pokoji. Vše bylo...
