We were absolutely satisfied with U Cisare. At first we were a little bit sceptic because this is some kind of pub with rooms in first floor in the middle of chech nowhere. But we were very pleasantly surprised!||We arrived at 10pm and the pub was full of guests, but we got our keys without problem, unpacked the bags and then went downstairs for very good ||snack and of course beer. Smoking is allowed inside(we do smoke occasionaly) but we sat outside in a beautifull garden with fountains.||Rooms are unbelievable. I think they are freshly renovated( We were in room 1). Everything is perfectly clean. The bathroom is great, very tasty decorated||and absolutely clean, the floor, the shower cabin, electricity sockets(those things could be sometimes a mess).Colors are very good chosen and I could have such a bathroom by myself. Check the pictures!||The room is quiet even if faces the garden.||Breakfast is served on a plates and it is enough. First morning we ate almost everything, but the second we even had to made some sandwiches for the road.||The personal is very kind and helpful even if they don't master english. ||I'm usually very meticulous, but this time can only...
Read moreWe arrived on bikes from Prague on the first day of our ride from Prague to Dresden. Melnik is on the top of a hill so we were hot and tired. The hotel reception, which seems to be permanently unmanned, was not available so we had to hunt around to ask the restaurant staff (who spoke little English) to help us. While being very helpful, it took some time to find our booking (made by the bike tour company) and then heave our suitcases up the very steep stairs to the first floor rooms, which were a good size with excellent wifi. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent with good food and great beer. In the morning we had the same problem checking out - no staff on reception and had to hunt around for staff to help. Breakfast was in a small room with limited selection, and with little assistance. The coffee machine did not operate and the waitress was not able/willing to fix it. As with most hotels in the Czech Republic, beds tend to be very firm and pillows very...
Read moreWe stayed here one night on a cycling holiday. It is really rooms attached to a bar/restaurant, rather than a hotel with a proper reception. The accommodation part of the building has a reception desk on the first floor but there is no one at it and you cannot access it until you have your key- you actually have to check in and pay upfront at the bar. Having said that our check in process was ultra quick. Our bicycles were stored in a summer house at the rear of the beer garden. The breakfast was a little limited on options- no fruit, only sliced bread and only fried eggs for hot food. Given the above and comparing it with our 7 previous nights in Czech hotels I would say this was overpriced at 1500ck per night. |The bar and garden at the back serve traditional average...
