Hotel Krokus — Hotel in okres Trutnov

A small compact hotel with its own restaurant, children's playroom, sauna and room for ski equipment storage.|Pros.|Large room with everything you need. |Windows with a view of the street and hotel restaurant entrance. We were afraid that in the evening or at night it would be noisy. But since the restaurant are open until 22:00, the noise did not bother us.|The service staff is helpful and friendly. Moreover, we often played with our children in the playroom. The room is not big, the toys are old, but there are enough toys to entertain a small child. The presence of the game room made our life much easier in bad weather. In the ski equipment storage we often left the pram, which was very convenient.|Good breakfasts with everything you need. Hotel Krokus is located in the center of Pec pod Snezkou,ideal location. ||I made a reservation for 3 nights.||The hotel's parking lot was full so i was told to park on the public for pay parking lot a bit higher up the street. Reception closes at 6 so be there on time if you want to get in. The guy at the reception potentially had a rough day. Check in took some time, he gave me two discount cards for the activities in the city and I left with the one that was not working properly. But this I found out the next day. ||The rooms are on the two upper floors. My room was sufficiently big with a small TV set and a view on the terrace of the nearby restaurant. The mattress was way too soft for me to have a good night sleep. Also, in the bathroom I detected some dirt.||The breakfast is in a separate room downstairs and was of average quality. On the last morning, there were only three guests (and still no parking space for me on the hotel parking lot) and we had a tailored made breakfast in the restaurant, prepared by an Italian and it was much better than the days before.||I would go for another hotel in Pec...

😊: Location is fantastic.. 😢: There is no cleaning service. Nobody changes the towels. No black-out curtains, so when the sun comes out, you can not sleep anymore. Shower - it was possible to shower in hot or cold water only. No other temperature adjustments possible. There is little or no sound isolation between the rooms and a hall, therefore you live together with all other guests. :-) Breakfast - this was just a terrible. The eggs - cheapest, ham - cheapest, cheese - cheapest, juice - cheepest. It is unfortunate these days, that the hotel does not provide at least standard quality breakfast.
