HOTEL 51 — Hotel in Prague

I checked in at hotel 51 on Saturday 8 August, checking out on Wednesday 5 August. We were there for 4 nights.||Upon booking this hotel, I knew it was a VERY CHEAP hotel and I booked it as I wasn't willing to pay much for a hotel but I do wish I had paid a bit more and stayed at a more decent hotel in the City Centre.||It is a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. The staff could not speak English and so it was extremely difficult to explain anything to them and I had to use a lot of hand languauge, however the staff were very friendly and they tried their best to help despite the langauge barrier. There was one young wonderful lady at reception we found on the second day at reception who spoke English and explained to us how to use the Metro and get round Prague which was fantastic!||She also told us they sell metro tickets at their reception which was great! The other receptionist could not speak English and so the first 2 days we had no idea about the metro and got ripped off on Taxi.||I cannot fault the hotel, its nice and even though nearly all staff could not speak English they still tried to help. We split drink on our bed sheet and upon request it was changed immediately. ||Breakfast was not great.||It was 36 degrees in Prague and the hotel had no air con which was a complete killer and so I could not sleep at night due to the heat. I asked for a fan which they kindly explained they did not have.||I would not return to this hotel and would spend a bit more to stay in the City centre in a nice air conditioned bedroom.||But the hotel is cheap and u get what u pay for. There are no lounges or anywhere else to stay for a while talking about the experiencies in town. If trying to do so in the restaurant an all too unexperienced waiter will order you to leave||The message is, that the restaurant doesn't belong to the hotel.||The staff doesn't speak an understandable English, german or french, less understand whatever you are trying to communicate.||The rooms are nice and clean, but the lack of a lounge or anything likewise and the the missing cababillities cencerning the most commen languages makes it a non recomendable place.||Rooms facing the main street are...

Начну с самого главного - расположение. Отель расположен в 5 минутах от станции метро желтой ветки Hloubětin. Дорога до центра на метро занимает около 20 минут. Зато недалеко от конечной станции Černy most (2 станции от Hloubětin) расположен довольно неплохой торговый центр с тем же названием. Советую посетить гипермаркет Globus. Также прямо на выходе из станции метро Hloubětin расположен небольшой и бюджетный супермаркет Penny.||Персонал в отеле русскоговорящий. Посетителей в отеле в наш заезд было очень мало (в основном русские и украинцы селятся в этом отеле). Последние 3-4 дня отель был полностью в нашем распоряжении, т.к. мы были единственными посетителями. Комната была расположена на 1 этаже, поэтому окна нельзя было оставлять открытыми. Слышимость в отеле очень хорошая, поэтому нам повезло, что в отеле вместе с нами почти никого не были и что отель располагается со стороны двора. Большой плюс за то, что расположен на тихой улочке.||Жили мы в комнате на 3 человек (1 кровать просто не стали застилать). Чистый и достаточной большой сан. узел, в комнате стоит шкаф, столик, крючки для одежды и зеркало, пара полочек и телевизор (очень старый, мы его не включали). Чайником, холодильником и микроволновкой можно воспользоваться на рецепции (посуды там нет и из столовки брать нельзя). ||Не поняла только почему на каждого человека выдавалось по 1 полотенцу, которое меняли раз в 3 дня, а одноразовое мыло и шампунь дали только в первый день (ну хоть бумагой туалетной не обделили). Уборка в комнате заключалась в выносе мусора.||Завтраки были довольно скудные, но с голоду не умерли. Когда остались в отеле единственными посетителями, то на завтраки нас отправили в отель Bella через дорогу.||В целом отель дотягивает до своих 3х звезд. Сойдёт вполне для...
