Vankova Hostel — Hotel in Prague

Management to be improved!!!!!||First, ALL guests to be avare: it happens that in Prague are TWO "Vankova" streets! And on the booking details (reservation printed from Booking.com) there are NOTHING about this! (No district name specified). So the taxi dispatcher asks me "Is this stret in the district XXX?" - I DONT KNOW! (I'm a tourist). So the taxi delivers me to the wrong address. When I tried to call the hostel I get a responce - "We don't have your booking. Your booking reference number is wrong. (Booking reference number taken from the Booking.com printed order (paid one!!!) Wait a minute, what is your name? A, Mr. Yyy.. That story.... Your are living in the other hostel" ||And only the second call I got an sms with the address of the another place where shoul I stay. Why i was NOT informed in advance about address change? They have my deatails (phone and e-mail), reservation been paid 1 week in advance...||So I'm very upset with this situation and onestly thing that this negative responce is fully paid by my unused reservation (found myself at 3 am in the middle of nowhere I deceided not to go to such unfriendly place and came to the normal hotel where I have reservation for the next night).||Dear management - just keep this into consideration for the future.||Dear tourists - be prepare for the surprises and plan tyou trip more pricely. I would rate this Hostel 4 stars but I gave the extra star because I thought the only other English review was super dumb ||||We were staying in a 4-bed studio room with 2 bunk beds, bathroom and kitchen and must say the room itself was very nice, and clean. The kitchen in the room was basic but equipped with stove and oven and saved us money eating at restaurants etc. There was no fridge in the room but there is a shared mini-fridge upstairs (somewhat crowded!). Somebody did keep nicking my food, although I think this may have been selfish guests then any problem with the hostel itself||||The lady at reception was very helpful during our stay, and was kind enough to let us check in a few hours early, as we had arrived by sleeper train and had lots of bags we wanted to dump ||||The shower could have been better, as there was no fixing to hold the shower head on the wall and it required holding. There was no lock on the toilet, and the hot water runs out after about 2½ showers. ||||I did enjoy my stay here, and it was approx. a 20 min subway journey to Old Town (24 koruna) per journey. Гостиница удобно расположена, рядом с метро. А если немного пройти то будет небольшой лес. Персонал отлично знает русский язык. Имеются запирающиеся шкафчики. На кухне имеются чай и кофе. Воду из под крана можно спокойно пить. ||Из минусов. чень маленький холодильник и нету морозилки. На кухне стоит плита, но хозяин почему-то не разрешает ей пользоваться, а в универсамах по-близости готовой еды нет. Ситуацию выручает только гипермаркет "Глобус" (тот же самый, что и в Рязане, Владимире, Подольске, Ярославле), расположенный около станции метро "Чёрный мост" (две остановки на метро). Было бы неплохо если койки были бы зашторены и над ними имелось...
