We were traveling around Europe and this was our third stay. We chose this hotel as we wanted to visit Prague and the price was not bad - such a mistake. I know we booked the cheapest option, but this hotel was disappointing in all aspects. Only positive was the morning receptionist, she was nice and helpful. The hotel is more like an accommodation for workers and builders. Old, smelly and tired. The windows need new painting inside as they look like from a horror movie. The safety of the window is zero, as you can open it fully even from the third or fifth floor. There is a mini kitchen, which looks more like a cupboard. But there is no sink to wash a cup or a plate. So you have to use the bathroom and wash it in the bathtub. The cleaning service in the room is awful!! We came back afternoon and we found our old towels dumped behind the bathroom doors, our bed was untouched. But the smell in the room was horrendous. Someone was smoking cigarettes in the room and everything comes into our room through the ventilation in the toilet. We tried to close it, but somehow it was still open and the smell was everywhere. We asked the cleaning lady about that but she didn't speak either Czech or English. So she was unhelpful. On the first evening, we find out our card is not working and the gate to the hotel won't open. So we came to the reception and there was a different young receptionist and she was confused about that. We said that our card is not working and she looked at my husband as she said "you have to ask our IT specialist about that". We looked at each other and decided to resolve it in the morning. In the morning, there was a different receptionist and she activated our card in a minute without trouble. The breakfast is poor. I asked about the filling on the top of the bread and not even the kitchen staff knows what's inside...We will never go back to this hotel. Better save more money and go...
Read moreThe room was nice and clean. We only got 2 little bags of shampoo in our room. When asked the front desk for more, she said the cleaning lady would bring more. When coming back at noon, the cleaning lady wasn't there yet. We again asked for more shampoo and pillows, they told us that they are all full and didn't have extra pillows. At 16:00 and while resting, the cleaning lady knocked on our door to see if we need her to clean the room or to give us clean towels. Again we asked for shampoo and she gave us one little bag.. The next day and even though we hanged the "clean my room" sign, they came in, picked up the towels and didn't clean the room, beds, pillows. It was amazingly loudly from the tram and nearby airport. The room had one fan. When leaving the windows open with closed curtains all kind of bugs and flies were entering the room. The parking was ok, we had to pass between the gate bar with motorcycle because no one was there to open it up for us. The walk from parking lot to the front desk was not good, it was either long steps or a longer path from around the hotel, with motorcycle equipment and bike bags was hard to unpack and carry them all up the entrance. Front desk ladies were polite and kind, helped us with map and...
Read moreMy mum and I stayed here for a couple of nights in June and we both really enjoyed it. Compared to some other hotels I have stayed in, with value for money this is one of the good ones. We chose to have the breakfast buffet included in our stay. For most people it may seem basic, however, if you love the continental breakfast there’s enough choice available. The rooms were clean and tidy and also came with a fan, TV, hair dryer and coffee maker. The location was on the outskirts of Prague, so definitely not walking distance to the city centre, however there’s so much choice with trams and buses it only takes around 20 minutes to get to the top sights. For some it may seem too far but I quite liked it being a bit further away from all the hustle and bustle. The tram stop is literally only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. If you like something a little quieter then I would...
