We chose this place due to its acceptable price during Christmas Holidays and location close to the magistral route, which was good for us, having a car. The city center is accessible within 25 minutes by tram or by bus. ||it has a free parking, which is also important for Prag. The stuff (receptionists) are friendly and speak several languages. Breakfast provides little choice, but enough for a short stay. Accepting credit cards. ||However, This place has some disturbing flaws. They change towels and bed sheets only upon a request (there is a sticker on the wall warning about it), but it looks like they also clean upon request, and not the entire room. Lots of spider webs are everywhere. ||The bathroom looked old and rusty in some places. The bed linen was not very clean and new, the cases either too small or too big. There was a very weak heating in some rooms - but they provided an electrical heater. ||On the second day, our door started to open without a card, just with a slight push. We found it open one night when we came back from the city center. Got a stress, but everything remained untouched. (room 121) After our complaint to the receptionist, we got another room, even better than the previous, with better beds, two towels per person instead of one, reading lights at the bed and much warmer (115).||Too bad, they do not have lockers, bar or fridge in the room, but hair dryer was possible to lend at the reception. ||The night noise was a real problem in our first room (121), as we were located close to the bed linen storage. Every night at around 5 they were transporting it on metal carts very loudly. I see here people complain about the club, but we were on the first floor, and did not hear it. The restaurant also was far and the summer terrace was closed, so no noise from the window. ||So, in conclusion, I must say it all depends on the room you will be lucky to get. Looks like that for the same price you may get 3 or 2-star service. I would like to address to the owner of the hotel, do not be greedy and upgrade the place, get some new furniture and linen, fix bathrooms and doors, throw away broken pieces, or very soon this place...

Read moreI’d rather stay at the crematorium up the road! You might actually get some sleep there. Our room has a door direct into the room next door so we could hear everything … all night. The door also had a key hole that you can peek through and look in the other room. Luckily I found this out before the other people had arrived.
The shared bathroom curtain doesn’t fully cover the window, meaning when you’re having a shower you can be easily seen from the road.
When we stayed there was a group of extremely loud people. Usually it’s fine but every door slam, every foot step and every whisper can be heard from the hallway. Even from rooms on the other side of the building. It’s all hard surfaces so there’s 0 sound deadening.
Our room was large and clean which was great, the breakfast was good and it has good transport links into the city. BUT if you actually want to sleep I’d look somewhere else … it would be more quiet just up the road … quite...
