STUDENT HOUSING - Dormitory West — Hotel in Prague

At first glance, Fortuna West Dormitory might not seem like the best building—it’s not the most modern, and the rooms might not impress you. I remember thinking the same thing when I first arrived: “What am I doing here?” But with time, you start to understand that it’s not about how the place looks—it’s about the experience you live there.

Fortuna West is about the people. It’s the students you meet, the conversations you have at the stairs while smoking a cigarette, and the unexpected bonds that form. In that building, I lived through some of the best moments of my life—through good days and bad ones.

You meet people from all over the world, from different cultures and backgrounds, and you build friendships that last a lifetime. That’s where I met my best friends—we ate together, stayed up late, laughed, cried, and grew together.

I haven’t been to a more disappointing hotel than this one. We payed for two rooms, one for two people, and the other two people and a child. When we arrived we learned that there was no bed for my 6 year old sister. When we complained about this to the receptionist she explained that people usually let their child sleep in their bed so they didn’t think we’d want a bed. First they wanted to give us a baby crib (for a 6 year old!), and when we said we needed a proper child’s bed they didn’t want to give us a blanket or a pillow. When we finally settled this, they charged us extra. When we went to park our car in the hotel’s parking lot they gave us a card ( to open the gate) that didn't work and we got...

The worse experience. We still trying to recover from the breakfast that we eat before we leave the hotel and Prague! It was a last minute solution that hotel and the only we could find in a normal price but it wasnt good choice. The room was big but the bathroom wasnt good clean, no shampoo to make a shower or towers ( if you want you had to go to the receptionist and take with a charge),the floor it wasnt good cleaning also, it was no place to charged our phones ( only down of the table hide that has two socket one for the TV one for the lamp), internet also with the charge for the room! And the breakfast like a let you a Desaster for our health! Only good the receptionist that was very kind and knows...
