We spent three nights here and found it to be a very good base for visiting Prague.||||This small campsite is essentially the owner's back-yard. The site is walled and the entrance gate is locked from 10.00pm so it is very secure. Being a small site, it is quiet. There is a games room with table-tennis and table football but the room closes at 10.00pm to maintain the night-time quiet.||||The camping plots are not individually marked but assigned spaces are generous/spacious. Electrical hook-ups are also available. The bathroom block only has two male showers and two male toilets, but this is ample for the small site. The female side is of an equal size. The dish-washing sinks are located outside, in the garden, which is fine (unless it is raining).||||Whilst located in the suburb of V-Ladech, public transportation gets you into Prague easily and tickets can be purchased at the campsite. Buses stop at the end of the street and the Opatov Metro train station is only two bus-stops away. The Metro train takes about 17 minutes to reach the 'Muzeum' stop, next to Wenceslas Square. We left the vehicle at the campsite and used the Metro to get into the city for carefree sightseeing. Except when we drove to Kutna Hora to see the Church of Bones (about an hours drive away).||||I won't hesitate to book here for any future...
Read moreWe stayed at this place whilst visiting Prague on our European campervan tour in August 2012. It was excellent - a secure place to leave our van and all our belongings only 15 minutes by Metro from the city centre. The husband and wife team who run it were extremely friendly, spoke English, Russian, French, Dutch, German, you name it, and were extremely helpful with regard to giving us maps and info about Prague. They gave us a key to get back in later in the evening, and there are tabletennis and table football for kids. Not a large place, but still plenty of space, and shade under the trees of their orchard. Overall we couldnt have asked for more. Total price including electrical hookup for the campervan was 460 czech coruna for both of us per night - about 15 sterling at the...
Read moreThe owners are really nice and friendly. The rooms are absolutely clean and quiet, and they also provide microwave and refrigerator. The best part is the location: the surrounding area is extremely beautiful and there are two amazing nature parks nearby. I would not have discovered the beauty if I had chosen to live near the center of Prague. Living there is my best decision of my trip to Prague! Thank...
