Chopsticks Bistro — Restaurant in Prague

Didn't even get to food stage, sat down and waited for 15mins right under the waitress's nose, obviously waiting for order to be taken. Since nothing happened I finally came up to the bar to ask if maybe we should order there and I was told in a rude way that they didn't take orders any more since one cook was ill and they had too many customers already. Tak na shle! Never again. I hate it when someone wastes my time on a Sunday afternoon, especially when I'm hungry. And there are like 4 tables inside so not possible that they didn't see us and could not inform us rightaway that unfortunately they would not be able to serve us food today. One cook is down, no worries, I understand. But the way you deal with the situation is a different thing. We went to Spojovna instead and it was amazing :-)

Looks like I can't reply to your response so I will write here. I don't think it was possible to overlook us since there are 4 tables if I remember well, max 5, we were at the big one in front of the bar with menus in front of us so one had to make a lot effort not to see us. I felt all the more awkward since it was me who talked my husband and my son into going to your place since I heard great opinions about it, since the morning we were like "Chopstix todaaay!". We have visited the Chopsticks Bistro for the first time last week with my girlfriend for a lunch and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The place has a nice Asian bistro style, the food is very good and they serve big portions. The service was also very nice. As we were there for the first time we tried some classic foods, including Bum Bo Nam Bo and Crispy Chicken Curry. As I have said, both meals were delicious. We will definitely be coming back to try out other options from the menu. They have only one menu, therefore there is no lunch menu, but the prices are reasonable for such quality. I had an amazing duck with coconut curry here and two summer rolls as well. The food here is delicious and fresh. The waitress was nice to us and welcome us with a beautiful and gentle smile. The location is also good, it's near by Southern city at the "village" area, so you can sit outside as well.

The only thing I missed here was some vegetarian or vegan food. I simply couldn't found a meal without...
