Not more than 3 stars. In order. Food: italian-ish. Having "Bambin"i written in the menu doesn't make a restaurant Italian. No Italian will have a baguette or white rice as a side. But especially, use cream for carbonara, which is almost an insult to the most basic Italian cuisine. The specialties are porc and burger. The porc was not bad, but burger is not an Italian speciality. Bread and butter is not a starter in Italy. Same as tiramisu: such an eas, cheap and impactful dessert... spoiled. A layered tasteless cake. No restaurant in Italy would show rice, pasta and pizza...with chicken. Simply chicken isnm not an add on to these dishes. Service: nothing bad about it. Nothing good. Did I feel welcomed or appreciated? No. Typical Czech. Atmosphere: just the fact this is one of the three items google ask when reviewing a restaurant, shows how important it is. Very poor lighting, random disposition of the tables. Chaotic and bright. Pity as the place as potential, but zero atmosphere. In summary, it would be wrong to say that was bad but was nothing special. Nothing was Italian besides the name of some dishes. The wrong tiramisu, use of chicken in traditional italian dishes and carbonara show there is no Italian cooking nor...
Obsluha neprofesionální a neochotná, jídlo podprůměrné a hygienické standardy zcela neomluvitelné. Upřímně řečeno – průměrná nádražní restaurace nabídne vyšší kvalitu, lepší servis a čistější prostředí. Tento podnik už nikdy nenavštívíme a s čistým svědomím ho nikomu nedoporučím.

We visited Restaurant Di Carlo over the weekend on the recommendation of friends. Unfortunately, I must say that our visit turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences in a long time.
The problems began right at the start. After being seated, we waited more than half an hour before anyone from the staff approached us. When a waiter finally arrived, he wordlessly threw the menus onto the table and walked away. We had to specifically request an English menu, which took additional time to arrive. Meanwhile, guests who came in long after us were already finishing their starters, while we still didn’t even have water on the table.
The starter was acceptable, but the main course bordered on insulting. Following recommendations, I ordered tuna with mashed potatoes. The mash was anything but fresh – a dry, rubbery mass, glossy and hard on the surface, clearly prepared in advance and reheated in a microwave. In a restaurant that dares to present itself as “fine dining for discerning guests,” such a dish is utterly unacceptable and frankly undignified.
The final breaking point came with a visit to the restrooms. The hygienic conditions were appalling – feces on the toilet seat, another toilet left unflushed and without toilet paper, overflowing bins, and paper towels scattered across the floor. Such an environment would be disgraceful even in a roadside diner, let alone in an establishment that attempts to market itself as a luxury destination.
In summary: Di Carlo may brand itself as a restaurant for demanding customers, but the reality is the complete opposite. The service is unprofessional and indifferent, the food is below average, and the hygiene standards are indefensible. To be perfectly honest – an ordinary train station café would offer higher quality, better service, and a cleaner environment. We will never return to this restaurant, and I cannot in good conscience recommend...
Read moreGreat service, great atmosphere, very nice restaurant, but a pity the food or the food we ordered at least, did not even come close to our expectations. For starters, if you want to put Focaccia on your menu, make an effort and serve Focaccia. Not extremely dried out , slightly burned, pizza bread which has been renamed to Focaccia , with no sign of any olive oil on it and just a bit of rosemary. That was a red card immediately. Then the appetizer dish you serve ( quite expensive might I add ), which has the eggplant, cheese etc is an insult. With that very low quality bread and ingredients , including an extremely small portion for what you pay. Finally, the pizza is below average , as is the Calzone. Tons of Rucola on top of it as well for no apparent reason. This review is from about a week ago visit. Fix your menu, improve the food there cause you have a great place selling very...
