⭐ 0/5|Extremely poor service – completely unreachable and no responsibility taken||I had a reservation at Four Points Flex by Sheraton Aarhus Viby for June 29–30, 2025. Due to unexpected train delays, we were going to arrive later than planned and simply needed to confirm whether late check-in would be possible.||I messaged the hotel at 14:09 and called them 9 times throughout the afternoon. No one responded until 18:30 – far too late to continue the trip safely, especially when check-in was listed as only guaranteed until 20:00.||Because we had no confirmation, we had no choice but to return home, not knowing if we would be let in. I did everything I could to reach out in time and explain the situation, but the hotel remained completely unresponsive when it mattered.||Despite this, they charged the full amount and have refused to take any responsibility. I have also requested contact details for a manager or someone accountable – but no one has responded or followed up.||This was not just bad service – it was a complete lack of basic communication and respect for guests. I’m staying in this hotel most of the time (90%) when driving to/from Norway. It’s about 2 hrs drive away from the Hirtshals ferry port so the locations fits well to the colorline.com ferry schedule. When traveling to Norway I leave it about 0900, just after breakfast. When traveling back, I’m there about 2200. So both ways it’s very convenient. The hotel also offers underground parking, which is locked for the night, so it’s also very convenient as you don’t have to worry about your stuff left in the car, I leave most of my luggage there as I’m staying for a night only. Not that a risk of break in to your car is high in Denmark, but still it’s even lower when you leave your car in this garage ;) oh! and it’s free of charge too ;)||The hotel itself is very Scandinavian - clean, nice design, kind staff, good breakfast, etc. ||Self check-in, including your parking is huge advantage.
