We entered the restaurant and walked forward and said we had a reservation. They came and showed us straight to our table after checking we reserved. Very quick and very nice. Same about the drinks. We ordered and they came quite quickly. I had a ginger beer and it was very good, and very enjoyable. The food was ok, not the best, but it was good. They also had vegetarian options, but everything was fried. I understand that it is an Asian restaurant, however a few less fatty options would have been nice. The meat is pretty fresh and good, but I wouldn't recommend the meat drenched in sauces, as that isn't that fresh. They had tea, but only in teabags, which says a lot about an Asian restaurant. But, the toilets were nice, and quite clean, except the floor was a bit sticky. The kitchen wasn't the cleanest, but more messy than anything, nothing alarming. The atmosphere was nice, but a bit 'commercial' if you understand what I mean. Very loud, and not really a restaurant feeling. I like the decorations , and the fish tanks, they look nice and provide a good atmosphere. In total, the place is ok, but the food isn't that great, however the staff is nice. Read moreDeeply problematic that they mislabel seafood, as someone allergic to seafood, my kid very nearly ate some sort of deep fried fish, after being told it was mozzarella sticks. Needless to say this is problematic.
The buffet was pretty much empty, 7 or so sad pieces of sushi left and no noodles during the hour or so I was there. The food they did stock was mediocre at best. And despite their waiting staff being idle at the bar there was a clear expectation that we put away our dishes ourselves.
That being said the place had a nice atmosphere, apart from the dirty dishracks taking a bit away fron the experience, the decor was very pretty and served to give an asian dining feeling. And the deviders did well to lessen the soundscape of the other diners.
All in all a pretty meh experience, which i wouldn't recommend, especially to those who have special dietary constrictions such as veganism...
Read moreDet var en oplevelse, vi var fire personer og glædede os til lidt asiatisk mad.
Vi blev placeret mellem en gigantisk træskulptur og et akvarium med plastik planter og ret store fisk som forsøgte at udrydde algerne som var på alle stenene på bunden og på plastik planterne.
Det var hurtigt klart at maden på menukortet var det samme som på buffeten, kun lidt dyrere, vi bestilte altså fire gange buffet.
Det var desværre før vi havde set buffeten, til min overraskelse så halvdelen af buffeten ud som om den havde været angrebet af vandre græshopper, sovsen som var tilbage var udtørre af de infrarøde varmelamper, ligesom mange af de tiloversblevne fritterede rester, det eneste som var i normale mængder var ris og nudler.
Afdelingen med råt kød og skaldyr var ud over et par tørre rester tom, jeg valgte så at tage et par sushi, det var en fejl, de var ligeså tørre som alt andet, heldigvis uden at havde stået under varmelamper.
Jeg spurgte om buffeten blev opfyldt, nej, kom svaret, efter klokken 20 blev der ikke fyldt op for at undgå madspild.
Et par unge gutter som kom efter os fik beskeden ved døren da de kom ind.
I mellemtiden havde tjenere og kokke plyndret resterne med tubberware dåser, det som var tilovers var uspiselig.
En af tjenerne gik rundt mellem gæsterne og vaskede akvarierne af med en meget beskidt klud, det hjalp ikke på appetitten.
Toiletterne var beskidte, dyson håndtørreren var klæbrig og tydeligvis ikke gjort rent i meget lang tid, det passede til indtrykket af resten af restauranten.
Vi kom hurtigt til ende, kaffen var inklusiv og ganske god, det var selvbetjening, cognacen vi bestilte for at desinficere maven blev serveret i et shot glas, prisen for en cola, tre øl og 2 cl cognac plus buffet menu for fire var 820 kr, det var første og sidste gang vi var der.
Jeg skriver normalt kun kommentarer når jeg er begejstret, smag og behag er jo forskellig, her var det dog ikke et spørgsmål om smag, der var ingenting...
