The Burger Concept — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

This place has gotten markedly worse, especially recently. Surprisingly enough they upgraded their service monitors for the better, but in turn downgraded the usual Spicy Chicken sandwich. Instead of fried chicken filet, it's a cornflakes-battered chicken nugget patty. I thought that was a feature of the cheaper priced sandwiches? The store still advertises them as having "southern fried chicken" in it - the new patty is not very tasty, it's a little gross actually. That's on top of this place and its gradual decline. When The Burger Concept started out, the fries were also better in all their locations with much thicker fries and really good and addictive seasoning. At some point, they cut costs on fries, and they became thin, mass produced, and left to get stale before serving. I don't think I've ever had fresh fries from them in the 2 years I've lived in the area. There are very few selling points remaining after having subpar fries, service and atmosphere. Though I understand it's a fast food place in a mall, it's dirty often and more recently, they stopped stocking the tables with tissues, and don't give you any with servings so you have to ask. Though at the end, TBC always had a selling point in their burgers and sandwiches. Especially the Spicy Chicken, with a cheap cost and always staying tasty. That last selling point was pretty much gone for me after eating earlier today.

I'm not sure if it's a struggle with business expenses or mismanagement, but TBC could be running...

First time in Burger Concept in Aarhus. Remote location from the main city center. First thing noticed was that all chicken burgers were unavailable (I understand when some restaurants run out of some ingredients) . I ordered one of each available: cheesburger, iconic and veggie. I was hoping to get one of the milkshakes as well... unavailable. I paid for the order but there was no receipt, there was no receipt printer on any of the ordering machines. So waiting for my order number, which I didn't know, when I was told there are no veggie burgers anymore. I took one more cheesburger instead. After starting eating I realized they taste "different" than usual, meat was dry, onions not pickled and the sauce reminded me the taste of a really cheap hotdog with ketchup and mustard. Went on a lunch break and only ordered a cheese burger. Went to føtex and came back and it was still not ready, so I told the guy behind the counter I would be back again. Went to matas, came back, and it was still not ready. I mentioned my lunch break was over in 5 minutes, and they started on the burger. Was standing there looking out the window when I hear the guy say "Here!, Here!" really rude, then I smile and say "tak for det", then "thank you" and all he did was scowl at me. I said thank you in two languages and the dude couldn't even fake a smile. Then I open the burger and it's the thinnest and most over cooked patty I've ever seen, with burnt bacon on top.
