Was staying here with my wife and daughter in a family room.||||They bed for our 2 year old daughter, was not safe for her to sleep in, it was broken (the person setting it up, could not have missed it)||||I did go to the front desk, and after searching for like 15 min, i got a new one, that i did assemble my self.||||||Then when we where going to sleep, my wife and i thought the bed was quite bad to sleep in, we could feel the springs in the mattress.||||The next morning we both had a bad nights sleep, and my back did hurt for like a week.||||The breakfast was sort of okay, there was some bread, some cheese and tea/coffee, but no bacon or anything that would make it above what you get at home.||||When i came home i wrote an e-mail to the managing director, and told him about our stay, and asked if they forgot to put a top mattress.||He admitted that the cleaning personel actually forgot it, and apologized for this. ||I wrote him back, thanking for the honesty, and saying some sort of compensation for a really bad stay would be in order, he's answer was 'no compensation'.||||It's okay for people to make mistakes, but the managing director not caring anything about this, is a no go.||||I will for sure never stay there again, and suggest to everybody else to stay away.||||It's simply to bad quality for...
Read moreRead moreKro means in Danish inn. Vissenbjerg Storkro is a modern looking low standard hotel, not a kro in old style at all. ||||Location - The area around Vissenbjerg is beautiful. The hotel itself is located close to the main road and it is a bit noisy if windows are open.||It is a spacious free parking place nearby and very few facilities for children to play on. ||||Rooms - rooms are light and the right size, not cramped. Beds are soft. Bathroom is also reasonable. Wi-fi works perfect. I do not like the window open system - closed-top venting-side opening. The top position of the handle did not lock the window correctly in our room and instead of the side opening the window was kept only on the one hinge ready to fall down - oops!||||Meals - Breakfast was good but with limited choice. Tepid boiled eggs are all what you can call 'warm food'. Restaurant serves decent evening food. It is difficult to call their dishes tasty. :)||||Checking out was horrible. Very slow lady in the reception could not manage any bill without manual and very slow (very) insert of our daily expenses. ||||All in all, the hotel struggles with keeping average level in all they can offer. Nothing special at all.||I will hardly recommend it to my friends regardless nothing significant can...
I stayed here on my way back from Sweden just for one night. I was looking forward to just sitting in my room with a beer or a cup of tea and FaceTiming my family. I couldn't do anything because there wasn't any kettle in the room, the wifi was almost impossible to connect to for longer than one minute on the ground floor even after the kind lady on reception reset the modem and the router was right outside my room, and to try and get anyone's attention at reception took way too long just to ask for a drink. |I felt like I was the only person in the whole building most of the time. It is like staying in a converted old folks home. |The room was spacious and comfortable but offered no fridge or air conditioning. It was quiet though. |The hotel does have free parking and free breakfast but it is just a little too remote and...
