Very nice little hotel with only 8 rooms but super friendly staff. When we asked about our late arrival beforehand it was no problem at all and the friendly host Jens just left us the keys on the counter together with a nice letter.
Rooms are with either a balcony in the first floor or a french balcony in the second floor. The latter provided a really nice view over the harbour as well as 15+ km viewing distance to the wind park to the south. The rooms are a bit rustic but nicely decorated and had everything we needed including comfortable beds with a good selection of pillows - only more coat hangers and a second soft blanket would have been nice as the nights were a bit chilly in May.
The breakfast was simple but what you expect from a small town hotel: a delicious selection of bread and bread rolls, jams, spread cheese and sliced cheese, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, granola and a daily selection of fresh fruit and sweets. We never left the hotel hungry!
Parking was either along the street in front of the hotel or on the public parking across the street. This was only 20 metres away and also has two electric chargers. We always found a parking spot although we visited off-season. In summer it might be more difficult to find a parking spot in such close proximity.
Overall a very nice stay in a beautiful little village with nice nature and walks but also great museums and attractions in short...
Read moreI stayed here two nights, on business, in a top floor single room. I'm a bit conflicted because I feel the price was high for what is offered. I'm just going to list the Pros and cons:||Pros:||Great view||Pleasant staff||Very clean||Quaint place||||Cons:||High price for what you get||Very Small room - the TV took up the entire space of the tiny desk.||No elevator and narrow staircase (I had a heavy suitcase)||Smallish, rather rough bath towel||Really cheap shower - the type with just a slight depression in the floor and a plastic curtain||Breakfast started late (8:00am) as I had to leave for work.||||In a sense they have the Scandavian spartenness, but maybe too much...
Read moreThis is not a Hotel, but a B&B. No kitchen after 10 am. No bar what so ever if the owner not there. Breakfast Ok enough but not convincing. No hot meals, but a boiled egg if wanted, but cold.|Rooms OK. Light and cosy. Space Ok. Lucky we were upgraded to a room with balcony. That was a genuine move from owners. Otherwise this would have been a miserable review. Will not return before price...
