Billesgade Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Odense Kommune

We found this place through our GPS while road tripping around Denmark. We arrived late at night and knocked the door. We wree received in the best way possible, warmly, no problems at all. I asked for a room if available and Bryan kindly welcomed me in to see the room first. So we took it. There was free parking outside on the street, totally safe. The room was perfect! Cozy, best sleep during my whole trip was here, really! On the same floor there were 2 more rooms, one clean bathroom and one kitchen, totally equipped, decent and neat, free coffee and tea. Distance from downtown in perfect, not more than 1.5 km form main attractions. Odense is beautiful town, all walkable. Bryan and his wife are great, friendly, kind and with a smile on their face. We just slept here for one night, but wish we could have been able to stay at least 3 nights on their B&B. Price: 470 ck/night. Fair price and normal one among all we could find around the country, this was the best price for everything we got. 100% recommended B&B in Odense for all reasons! BillesGade B & B is a perfect place to rest for the night. It is clean, efficient, affordable and in a nice neighborhood that is quite and safe.||||Brian and Anette have provided a nice place to stay. It is not a luxury B & B, but more like a higher end hostel. By this, I mean that it doesn't have have a shared dinning room, living room or study to congregate in and the rooms don't have ensuite bathrooms, but what it does offer is clean, comfortable bedroom and shared bath. If you opt for their breakfast (a nice one and affordable) you can have it in your room.||||They also offer a nice kitchen for your use with refrigerator that is stocked with beer, cider, soft drinks and water (at a nominal cost), a coffee and tea pot and a stove and sink. Perfect for a light meal.||||Brian is easy to communicate with and has a great sense of humor that you will enjoy. ||||They also offer rental bikes and have a good place to store yours if you bring one. The room is nice, clean with much space. The breakfast was also a very filling breakfast, plus it was super tasty! The owner Brian was really friendly and understanding. Even though I came later, than expected and checked out one hour later. You could also ask him anything and he helped me to carry up my luggage.||Unfortunately it was quite far away from the city center and the public transportation isn't really good in Odense. So I had to walk all the way with my heavy luggage. I also didn't feel really welcome, since I came later and I almost missed breakfast, since I wasn't sure, if he always notified me, when there's breakfast. Since I couldn't speak Danish I felt quite secluded in the yard, so I recommend solo travellers to eat breakfast in their rooms. He also didn't give my money back?
