Perfect for sunset time, great mussel dish, friendly staff, good value
In this small village, its almost hard to believe there is such a nice restaurant exists at its prime location on top of the hill for the sea view. Everything was great, including friendly staff and the very tasty mussel dish I had. Certainly recommend and probably it's wise to book a table, as it is not a massive place. An outside seating area is perfect for its prime sea view and breezing (as long as its not too windy). Even if you're inside, you'd have some view as it's all covered in big windows on sides. If I had to pick any downside, it might have been a bit dirty windows, which is natural if you don't clean it often on a potentially windy hill. But even that can be a part of charm of this cozy and warm local restaurant. No complaint and I think it's an...
Read moreBeautifully appointed, spotless and modern with eclectic art throughout, we were delighted with the location and the quiet. However, they were stingy with supplies: a partial roll of paper towels ran out on day 1, the partial box of tissues were out on Day 2. With only one set of towels for each of us for the entire week, we could have used additional towels, particularly when our belongings got wet in the rain. We had to ask the restaurant owners for the wifi code in order to access the internet as it was not provided. While there were extra pillows, there were no pillow cases for them! Also, there was no soap or shampoo in the shower. Diners from the adjacent restaurant feel free to peer into the windows and some even sat on our deck chairs to gaze at the harbor while we...
Read moreExtremely nice place, the food is also good, unfortunately the service undercuts everything I have experienced in Denmark. They tried to get rid of us because the restaurant was half full with guests. First they told us that the kitchen takes 2 hours to cook the food. After we said that we still stay, the hole restaurant was suddenly in 2 hours completely reserved and we can only eat outside. It was very windy 16 degree. A hungry tough German tourist does not scare that. we have remained unwanted. The kitchen took only 20 minutes. It was a beautiful evening. The Only bad thing was that we had to sit in the cold in front of a half empty restaurant. we were 5 adults and 3 children. We only saw two resons for the unfriendly waiters, they don’t want to work or they dont...
