I have to start by saying my reservation was last minute. I had to leave that day due to flight delays I had to stay one more day in Punta Cana. I booked with 2 hours of me arriving to Sunset Residences. I was with my 2 kids & my boyfriend. I decided to choose this stay because I was under the impression by a representative that it was in all inclusive. None the less I show up on a rainy evening we are exhausted and hungry. To top it off I was told the reservation was not paid on there end it did not show. I was very frustrated but I understood it was not there fault but the person over the phone I made reservations with. Ezequiel ( Manager) was doing his best to get the information and help me as best possible. Few minutes upon my arrival Juan Ramon ( Owner) showed up and just top things off, he said it’s okay if the payment is here or not, I’m sure there tired and they have the kids let’s accommodate them in a room and we deal with this situation later. I have to say a huge blessing and a BIG release off my shoulder I was very grateful for this gesture of his. Within 30 minutes we where able to resolve the finance issue that had arise. But guess what ?? I was also misinformed in my reservation is not an all inclusive only breakfast is included. But once again Juan Ramon and Ezequiel went above and beyond my expectations with me and my family to correct the reservation error made which let me remind you they had nothing to do with it. My boyfriend next morning had to go to work I stayed with my 2 boys. Ezequiel messaged me thru whattsapp in the morning advising me just to text him once we where ready to have breakfast. I sure did send the text and he came picked us up and walked us to the dinning area, while we where there Juan Ramon showed up and once again making sure food and everything is okay with us, & let me tell you that he asked what we wanted for lunch and dinner he would go out to the grocery himself to go buy it. Man oh man I was just amazed by the attention and customer service they had. We sure had lunch but no dinner since we had to leave and start our drive to S.D airport. If I had to rate and give more than 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would gladly place them, in customer service, cleanliness of the room, the hotel well organized, the dinning area is beautiful, the food had a beautiful presentation and the taste was just unexplainable amazing. Everything was great and I can thank enough Ezequiel and Juan Ramon for the great service given to me and my family. In a blink of eyes upon my return I would stay there with no hesitation. Let me not forget Ezequiel gave me a tour of the hotel and the setting and amenities they have are gorgeous. I highly recommend this place and I guarantee that as much as we loved it you would too. They do not understand how to handle customers properly or how to change the schedule or services. The airconditioners of the rooms were broken and not working, I asked several times to the staff to change the room, but they refused and only insisted to fix it but the amateurs came and could not finish it until the next morning when the proper servicemen came to fix it.||And breakfast was no worth to eat.||Rooms are quite old fashioned and not managed well, so conditions are poor.||||Also their official website do not have a proper way to modify/cancel the reservation, thus the only way for that was to contact them directly. I could adjust the schedule from 3nights to 2nights, 3month before check-in and I also cancel shuttle transport from thebairport and they promised to refund the rate for the night at the time of the checkin, and I only was asked to provide the bank account for the refund, but they have not sent it after 1month of checkout, and when I was managed to contact the some of staffs, they said it was transferred at that moment it would normally would take FIFTEEN working days, but the money has never been arrived on my bank, even after one month after they replied (2month after check in)||I suspect they have never sent it at all. Now they even do not answer me anymore.||I highly hope you would not have a similar experience, so DO NOT go this resort, ever.||In google review, they replied like joke that we had stolen your towels??? Seriously?
