PLAZACORAL HOTEL — Hotel in Higüey

this is one of my worst nights in Punta Cana I made the mistake of think that this was going to be in a good location to get to the airport quicker because it looked closer to the airport come to find out I should have gone somewhere else , this is a motel in the Urban area if you're planning on staying at this motel don't be surprise with the very limited of amenities , they have AC, mini fridge,TV cable , we stayed in a room with three beds. the beds were very uncomfortable This is definitely not the place to have a good night sleep, it feels like a sheet of cardboard in top of Bricks, we weren't able to sleep at all ,not just because of the beds but also the area it's like a MainStreet you hear all the cars ,motorcycles ,all the noises from outside, there's a basketball court in front of the motel and you hear everybody's conversation all night long. I would definitely recommend management of that motel to have some soundproof windows to make it more comfortable for us customers ,so definitely not recommend it if you were planning to have a good night sleep. even the price is not that cheap there are other Hotels that may be more affordable and probably a lot...

Located app. 6 km from airport (small bus stop few meters from hotel) and with easy access to other locations like beach, shopping centers or intercity bus station by small buses. Access to such facilities like restaurant (in the same building), currency exchange (in shop app. 100 m from hotel on the airport direction) and cafeterias (the best few meters before currency exchange place), local shops. There is also big free car park area. Rooms with wi-fi, separate bedroom and leaving room area, flat TV with various programs, air condition and fan. Room was cleaned every day so it was clean but with some exception (sink in kitchen was so dirty as nobody use it I suppose and we didn't as well). It is excellent place for last 1-2 nights before leaving Punta Cana. Very local environment makes this...

Me and 5 friend book 3 Rooms by 19 of november, by the time we paid 50% to reservate.||the night after our arrival 15 december, the Hotel write us saying that they were having "problems" with the pipelines in their rooms, but in fact what they did was oversold the rooms.. and basically leave us out.. and btw we didnt find any other hotel near to the location we want.. and we spend the night in our vehicles.. verry bad...
