Good vibes apartment — Hotel in La Hispaniola

The rooms are very new and well furnished. The beds are comfortable and the pool is amazing. All very close to the village and restaurant. I’m removing a star because at midnight, we were woken up by someone who knocked angrily on our door repeatedly for 15 mins. We asked what was going on and they didn’t reply or said a few words in Spanish. They tried getting in but we locked our door thankfully. We felt super scared and unsafe. We talked about it the next day to the reception and they laughed and said a guest had a security guard who wanted to “check out the rooms”. What the hell?! At midnight? This felt really strange and we left swiftly. Would not recommend to women travelling...

It’s an affordable spot. Close to the beach, 5 minute walk from public beach access. Basic market is 5 minutes away, so is a bank and a pile of other shops (touristy, giftshoppy kind). Quiero hacer mención especial en este lugar, el lugar lo alquilamos por el sistema Airbnb, al llegar nos atendieron en la recepción, las personas muy amables, el lugar es como un edificio comunitario y cuenta con parqueos independientes, ahora bien, el apartamento que rentamos por "fotos" se veía bien ❤️‍🩹.. pero al llegar un desastre TOTAL, el apartamento lo dividieron en 2 y nos rentaron el estudio, muyyy pequeño y sucio, la cama horrible que sonaba demasiado solo de sentarse, el control del tv no funcionaba, la única lámpara de techo tampoco, el baño con cucarachas, el refrigerador una mini nevera súper sucia, el calentador de agua no funcionaba, a la 3 de la mañana llegó el vecino de al lado con una bocina a todo volumen, un total y completo desastre, la habitación es el número 103, alejense de...
