La Curadiña — Hotel in La Hispaniola

La Curadiña is completely magical and our favorite accommodations so far in three weeks of travel. The apartments are spacious (huge ceilings), have great natural light, are spotless clean, with modern decor and amenities. The photos don’t do it justice! The surroundings are so peaceful; steps from the beach and the bedroom overlooks a beautiful jungle. It is quiet at night allowing for a comfortable nights rest. Reuben has put so much love and care into creating a tranquil and comfortable home and Babette is so kind and helpful; they are the most accommodating and lovely hosts! Can’t rave about this...

We had a lovely time! We stayed for a week on an upper floor. The place was super clean, open and airy. The room comes with a mini fridge, safety box, plenty of towels and a really comfortable bed. The view of the pool on the balcony and the view from the bathroom meant lots to enjoy. The resident host Babette was such a welcoming and safe presence. She made sure we had everything we need. The Dominican breakfast was a treat and one we revisited a couple times. The place felt secure and private thanks to their friendly staff and security. The peacefulness was enjoyable. We had a lovely stay at La Curadiña. The location is tremendous as it's very close to the nicest surf beach where you also find good lunch places and a lot of trees that provide shadow.

The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The shower huge! The pool even has a jacuzzi in it.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast tasted good and gave energy for a nice morning catching waves!

Absolutely recommend La Curadiña for your stay in the area...
