Hi all! We stayed in this complex with my family of 4 people for 6 nights. This was in December 2023. I want to write an honest review. I was extremely unhappy with my stay, the apartment we stayed in was terribly old, dirty and not cleaned. Wi-fi was very slow and the connection was only two meters from the router, the furniture is stained, the chairs on the balcony are old and rusty and when you sit on them you can stumble upon a nail from the chair. The air conditioners in some rooms do not work, and those air conditioners that work are humming very loudly and it is not possible to sleep. All the furniture is old and tired. The staff is not respectful. We were warned at the beginning that we would pay for water, but then when we started renting out our room at the end, they checked every plate, counted every towel and said that we could only pay for water in cash, ($50 for 6 nights) we are very We had a hard time looking for cash and we managed to find it, after that we paid and were not given a receipt for payment, I highly do not recommend staying...

I recently had the opportunity to visit this stunning resort and was completely captivated. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful palm trees surrounding the property, creating a tropical and relaxing atmosphere.

The bridge that crosses the pool is a charming touch and adds an element of elegance to the setting. The pool itself is crystal clear and perfectly maintained, providing an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the sun.

The rooms, located just behind this picturesque scene, are modern and comfortable. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and the impeccable cleanliness of all common areas.

The resort staff was extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was as pleasant as possible. From the pool service to the restaurant, every employee went out of their way to provide a high-quality experience.

In summary, my stay at Balcones del Atlántico was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in a...

Extremely well kept apartments that offer a discount on other local all inclusive for groups assuming you are ok to shop for groceries or pay for a chef for the week and have them pickup groceries. My family and I stayed for a week with my parents, my brother and sister my wife's mother and our 5 month old baby and there was more than enough room for us. A quick walk to the beach across the street has access to a private beach with the 'mosquito bar' kept us busy all week. There is a nice restaurant down the street, we didn't try it but we heard from other guests it was very good. We also went on a whale watching tour in samana which was about a 40 minute drive (one way), and we did a surfing lesson from a beach that was about 15 minutes away. You can easily find both by asking the staff as they were the ones who...

MOLD IN UNITS! Not cleaned prior to stay. Pros - Staff is friendly. Grounds are very nice and well maintained. Mosquito beach bar and restaurant is directly across the street (only option in walkable distance) Cons - 3 bedroom apartment was not clean and there was no attention to detail. Upon arrival, our room smelled of mildew and was visibly unkept (pillow cases too small, broken windows). The dishwasher had a sign that it was broken. After an hour indoors, I had an allergic reaction to the mold from the AC unit / curtains / blankets. I spent our three days here sleeping outside on the patio furniture. Luckily that was quite new. (Upon notifying the staff of the mold, they let me know that they are unable to help as the units are individually maintained by the owners. We stayed in unit 221)
