CASA HIDALGO ECUADOR — Hotel in Cumbaya

My Office have set me room in this hotel for business trip.||||1. Room : small and very very basic -||* Clean and tidy.||* very small window to a wall.||* No safe.||* Poor WiFi.||* Bad water stream.||* Extremely bad Toilet.||* TV work OK.||* Comfortable and clean bed.||||2. Crew : nice but DO NOT know English.||* not really did everything to make me feel welcome.||||3. Breakfast: ammm where is it ? ||* they said 7:00 - 9:00 but i been there in 7 and I needed to ask them for breakfast.||* no buffet , no menu , just asked me what do I want to eat and not saying what is the options.||* scrambled egg was dry and lack of taste.||* supermarket products.||||4. Surrounding.||* big nice mall in back...

Loved this Family owned and run hotel in Cumbaya, Ecuador. The staff were more than happy to make our stay a very happy and fun one. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. There is a very pretty grass courtyard that overlooks the Shopping Centre Scala with an open air and covered kitchen with a dinning table and a sitting room area. We were 15 people , family and friends visiting from Canada for a wedding and it worked perfectly for us. There is breakfast served by the hotel for a small fee of $5 . I used the public kitchen for my early morning tea . If you need dishes and cutlery the staff will be more than happy to accommodate you. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting...

Really nice atmosphere. Friend staff. Rooms are not that grate. Main complaint is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. You do get daily room service so your room is nice and clean. Plenty of hot water. Note; water pressure is low when flushing the toilet. I wouldent take much to clog the toilet.... View out my window sucks. Sets next to a Very large mall, but you Have to walk a round and cross a very busy 4 lane road to get to the mall. Sets next to a busy main highway , but you have to access it from a side street. Access to the lobby is controlled by a gate, so you have to push a button and the staff will let you in. A little expensive for what you get, but it's...
