Munay Backpacker Hostel — Hotel in Guayaquil

The owner was fantastic, Mo (?) can't remember her name now, but she really made you feel at home. She also was super helpful about finding places to go, and just really easy to talk to! She was amazing! The location was great and you could easily walk to the Malecon. It was right near a few tiendas and supermarkets as well. It had a great kitchen, and there was a nice balcony. One of the workers there, Jose, was really kind to me as well. The other workers there were so kind, as well. The bed was comfy and I got a great sleep. There was speedy wifi. The only suggestion I would make, is to add lockers for guests. To me, that is always super important when staying anywhere (I've been robbed once while sleeping, so I'm paranoid). I've been traveling South America for 1,5 months and this is one of the best hostels I've stayed at so far. The owner is really nice and helpful and does everything to make you feel like you're just staying at friend's house. Considering the price, the rooms are good. Very friendly staff and easy to arrive from the airport, just a few meters from a Metrovia stop.||||The location is not dangerous but at the same time not beautiful, very limited availability of food nearby late in the evening.
