Hotel Bucaneiro — Hotel in Manta

Stayed here last night for $85.40, truly not worth the money. Rooms are spacious but very empty, A/C doesn't cool the room enough even at it's lowest temp, the floors are not even with the elevator, once you arrived to a certain floor showed on the elevator, you need to go up or down a few stairs to the correct floor and your room. The breakfast was an American one so they said, one fried egg, 2 pieces of jam and a small tortilla with cheese, juice and self served tea, milk or coffee, didn't see any bread. The breakfast is served from 7 to 9 am Mon to Fri and 8 to 10 on Sat and Sun. Limited towels, one small soap and a little bottle of shampoo, one free bottle of water no matter how many people stay in the same room. View with balcony was superb but that's about it. Staff are mixed, some are polite and some don't even know what they're talking about. We had power failure almost the entire night and it was hot, no power generator for a hotel that charges you like a 3 or 4 star. There are lots of hostels around it with better service and price. Our room had a strange odor the entire time we were there. You are limited to four towels per room, so do not ask for extra towels. Overall not a good experience and expansive wouldn't recommend it and will not be returning. They may want to take sometime to learn about true...

Es hotel muy bonito y con una atencion muy calida.Es un lugar donde la gente tiene que visitarlo para pasar unas vacaciones de primera. Lo que debo caracterizar es que ellos no utilizan la publicidad para hacerte llegar a ellos y despues no cumplir con lo ofertado, pues este hotel es todo lo contrario la administracion es manejada familiarmente y con un servicio genuino. Antes de visitar este hotel visite otros hoteles alrededor de este y debo recalcar que este edificio fue disenado para lo que es ahora es. Lo contrario a la competencia que son casas reformadas y transformadas a hotel. Recomiendo mucho este hotel es un lugar donde me senti seguro en familia y donde volvere sin duda...
