the property location is good & the property itself is very cute but the decor, windows, mirrors, sink, floors, etc were all very worn and dirty looking. The room was a bit disappointing but practical and creepy in an oddly cute way. Looked like a very small dungeon cell with a air conditioning, low lighting, bed, one shelf, 1 tiny table, and a tiny woodland chair. The electrical outlets were very different and the 1 that was consistent (with the main outlet types used in Ecuador) was on the opposite side of the room from the bed. (I know this is sorta not in their control but) The first night there, had a trail of ants and other weird looking bugs going up the bathroom wall. The land lady/hotel owner/receptionist was a very nice lady & she spoke English which was amazing and made the stay feel better but upon check in, it wasn’t organized and my booking had been missed, but luckily I had a print out of my reservation; eventually we figured things out. The lady had forgotten to turn on the hot water after my check in so I had to wait till 8-9 PM for anything other than cold water so I missed out on a live music event night out in town. For as pricey as this is, it definitely doesn’t live up to the hype. The beachfront area of the hotel is a completely different property across the street but It’s quaintly beautiful and very cute. 1 positive thing I can definitely say is the property had security cameras outside my room which was nice but wether or not they...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of May 2025. We spent 3 nights in a room on the top floor in the building by reception. The room was spacious, we loved the entry way leading in to our room as it gave us extra storage. The bed was comfy, rooms were clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel provided soap but be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen facilities was a nice option as we had some early morning tours so having an option to buy food and store it in the fridge was a huge bonus. Our other 2 nights we stayed in the room above the bar which offered the most amazing view and having our own fridge was a huge bonus. Bed was comfy in this room too! Love that the rooms offer lots of options to hang your clothes. The location of this hotel is fantastic, it’s close to so many great places to eat and an easy couple mins to the...
Read moreI loved this place! It was my best stay in Galapagos and I didn’t want to leave. The room was very big, clean and had an amazing view over the beach. The people were really nice. The boy from the hotel came to pick me up to walk me to the hotel and told me about the Island, the place and all recommendations. He also helped with booking tours that were also really good, very helpfull all the days. The only thing was that because of Covid rules the bar was closed when I was there. When open the place will be even nicer. I would definitely come back one day and recommend the place to everyone! Isabela Island is really my favorite, I was supposed to stay 3 nights but made it 4 and wished to could have stayed...
