We stayed at Coati Lodge for 3 days this December. The lodge was perfect for all 11 of us (kids and adults). The lodge was as described, very clean and had everything we needed (fresh towels, sheets, kitchen supplies, purified water, etc.). The lodge is situated on a small body of water, where Jorge and his wife conserve fish in a miniature ecosystem. Beautiful location, just off a small road and next to a village supplies shop owned by Jorge's wife. Very close to the village of Misahualli (just a $1 canoe ride across the river Rio). Jorge also has great knowledge of the area and good connections so he was able to provide us with a tailored Amazon jungle tour (price was $120 for 2 people). Aside from the accommodation itself, we even managed to spectate an incredible Amazonian thunderstorm from our wooden veranda in the middle of the night. Quite something. Overall, an...
