Laguna Paikawe Lodge (Birds & Monkey Route) — Hotel in Puerto Misahuallí

Absolutely fantastic! Great location in the Dschungel and a very nice little family as hosts. We booked four days including trips and meals. The food was nothing special but delicious, the activities included a Dschungel trip in day and in the night, going to the nearby monkey park, and hiking (more crawling) trough a cave and to waterfalls. Great place overall to stay in an accessible part of the Amazon. You can see a myriad of birds, monkey species as well as insects, reptiles and amphibians at night. They organize canoes and nighr walks to spot wildlife, and also serve food if requested. I would really recommend if you are a wildlife enthusiast coming to this part...

Que hermoso lugar y que gusto compartir con Rodolfo, Leslie, sus hijos, y la Estrellita ! Un lugar increíble, una terraza con hamacas sobre la laguna, donde se ven los monos y varios aves. Se puede pedir desayuno o almuerzo, pero también se puede usar la cocina. Hay varias actividades a Misahuallí y sus alrededores. Se puede cruzar el río en tarabita o en lancha.

Se puede hacer con Rodolfo una caminata de 4horas diurna o nocturna, lo recomiendo mucho !! Se pueden observar muchos animales y conocer otra laguna. De dia a conocer las plantas y el camino de los monos, y de noche se podría ver caimanes, avez durmiendo, ranas, y una gran variedad de arañas. Miles gracias por esos momentos maravillosos con ustedes.

Me sentí como en casa, estaba muy triste irme después de una semana ! Espero que podría volver a pasar unos días allá... Y finalmente lograr a agarrar un pez...
