This is the best ship you can get for a Nile cruise. And for those considering travelling during the Corona pandemic: do it if you can!

We went in Oct/Nov 2020 and it has been a perfect decision. (a) This is maybe the only moment in decades to see the key sights in Egypt without the crowds (we were often the only ones at various temples). Do it now if you want to really enjoy and immerse yourself in ancient Egypt. (b) The safety measures are good: both at the airport (you need a negative Covid-19 test to get in), but especially at the ship: strict disinfection measures are in place, everyone is wearing masks, the staff is super careful, masks are always available, temperature is being measured every single time you board the ship, distance is kept (and can be easily kept on this very luxurious ship), gym is disinfected after every use etc.
