Read moreNewer hotel, centrally located in the downtown Portsaid district, nearby many shops and restaurants. I stayed here early March and quickly encountered a few issues during my stay, management could do better. Be careful when walking around, especially at night as two members in our party slipped on the staircase since the lights were not working properly. The hotel grounds are nice and clean, the rooms are spacious but the Wi-Fi is nonexistent and in many areas there is no service (without wifi). The bathrooms are small and when showering the water does not drain properly. Each room has a kitchenette with a washer which is extremely helpful and nice during your stay, hotel doesn’t provide any detergent but many shops are nearby. The area just outside the hotel - (entrance is in the back by the beach), taxis do not pass frequently so you have to walk through an unpaved dirt road with many stray animals - as a tourist from abroad these things are not common to see when staying at hotels so worth mentioning for future tourists. The breakfast was minimal but included and the restaurant staff is extremely nice and tries to go above and beyond. Thank you to Luca - the assistant manager of the restaurant for making our breakfast more enjoyable each day. Rating this as 3 stars because of issues we encountered during our stay and no customer service to solve them. Recommend...
