Grand Albatros — Hotel in Port Said

😊: They are willing to cook our food for a small charge, and they provide steady power when we were there. The receptionist was helpful and kind. There is secure parking if you are driving. Breakfast was okay.. 😢: 1. There was poop in the toilet when we arrived, and that was disgusting. The room assistant was short of patients and rude. The hotel restaurant below our room partied after midnight extremely loud, we called and physically went down to the lobby to complain around 11 pm, the receptionist called to stop it, howere it continued past midnight. When we went to check out, we were overcharged for one night. We booked from booking, and should have been charged American dollars not Egyptian currency. Not only they forced us to pay Egyptian currency but they also used the wrong daily rate and charged us 50 for every American dollar when the rate was below 50. Something that would have been automatic if we have been charged through booking and American dollars. Also the reception handling the payment was rude to my wife and kept interrupting her when she was answering his question. In general, we were overcharged for a room that kept us being well rested before a long drive the next day, along with an ugly attitude from the staff, that was unprofessional and...

The BEST four-star hotel in Port Said!

Between our time on the beach and in the city, my parents and I were looking forward to going back to our room at Aracan Hotel. We were there at a busy time on Eid al-Adha, and the staff embodied hospitality from the minute we arrived, especially Mahmoud Gouda at the reception. Our stay was pleasant. The hotel accommodated my request for a room with a calm wall color. The mattresses were comfortable and the wardrobe smelled lovely! The price-included breakfast had a nice variety of cheeses and pastries, and the English Breakfast tea and American coffee were great. The minute we reached the restaurant for breakfast, the manager welcomed us in a friendly manner. Even after check-out, we were allowed to place our bags in storage. When Mahmoud found out the porters who would take our bags were at the Friday prayer, he took it upon himself to place the bags in storage. We were then able to leave the hotel for lunch, assured that our bags were safe, and collected them about 7 hours later to catch our Cairo-bound bus that evening. It was a lovely...

😊: I had a truly wonderful experience at Aracan Portsaid. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. The location is perfect with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and coffee shops. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the room amenities—everything I needed was right at hand. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety and was absolutely delicious every morning!
